1. his ability to change gears as per the requirement of the situation.
2. his ability to remaain cool under pressure.
3.his self confidence.
4, can do attitude.
negatives
only one negative point - he should be assertive & tell BCCI , selectors etc that the graetest batsman on earth is of no use to the team - even as 12th man.

Thats like saying that if I raise my voice against corruption, I should be contesting elections. Also your Mr Dhoni btw said the same thing " If some one is better , he's ready to step down as test captain ".

then just don't comment for the sake of commenting. just try to hold your bat in the middle of the pitch even ina club match - all the misconceptions about yourself will be clear to you. & yes , i knew he is ready to step down if you are better than him otherwise don't even dream of getting anywhere near cricket.

I can say the same to Mr Dhoni that try writing a bug free java code and then come to me and comment. And also I am paid peanuts compared to obscene amount of money that he's making.Your argument doesn't hold any grounds.

yes vrishti , i agree. lets appreciate good performance & redicule poor performance without becoming know-alls & speculating how a player should have played

anurag . but has dhini commented on ur It skills ? or u know in ur heart of hearts ? or are u suffering from some inferiority complex. nobody is forcing u to continue in IT if ur being paid peanuts ? go play cricket - if you can. & u r getting peanuts only because u r not considered good by ur sector. don't be jealous brother , try to emulate him.

I agree with you solid signh, some people even when facts are laid out in front of them cannot digest and agree to it..they have some sort of sickness..He is a living example of can do Attitude, he is part of study in many MBA schools all over the world. criticizing is easy appreciating is diffult..He brough us so much glory in ODI be it world cup final or so many matches which he won for India..Thanks Dhoni.

Brother, going by your logic only a cricketer should critcise another professional cricketers. We cricket fans are just tools who pay obscene amount for cable subscriptions which lines up the pockets of BCCI and ultimately Mr Dhoni. And he comes up with excuses after excuses for his tactical blunders.Try having a original perspective brother rather than getting brain washed by media

Mr anurag Kumar .
as i said you have some misconceptions about yourself & a massive inferiority complex. why your comparing ur skills with his , his fame with your notoriety , his earnings with your earnings. who asks you to watch cable if you can not afford it ?
now i know why r u being peanuts when u only u can write bug free java code. all the best.

First of all regarding inferioriy complex , there is no comparision b/w my social stature and Mr Dhoni's.So your hypothetical assumption doesn't hold true.
Secondly, I mentioned earnings because like me, Mr Dhoni is also a professional who gets paid for doing a job.If I perform badly, that reflects on my bonus and hike so should his.Remember that its fans like you and me who are ultimately running the game so we are well within our rights to demand a better end product from our players.Think.It helps

thanks for admitting that there is no comparison after first trying to. next time pls don't even try to.and yes , absolutely no hard feelings. cheers, brother
Don't see too much into this article. Dhoni thrives on making run outs of his partners who are set to become good finishers. Yesterday, it was a perfect example. First Gambhir, next Irfan and then Vinay. If Dhoni was run out instead of Gambhir, India would have won and early yesterday through Gambhir's efforts.

T20 world cup finished.. 1st Rank is Test rankings- Finished... Best Player, 1st rank in ODI - Finish
