Yes, he finished the TEST matches and is quitting like a rat from test arena and he will soon finish the one day matches and will only play his favorite 20-20 games, which fetch him loads of money.

Re: Re: Re: Re: F____ u Mr. Dhoni!!!
by Varun on Feb 15, 2012 06:47 PM
It is jiju. He does not want to risk the attempt to increase the pace earlier. It is. He could have tried to hit that six earlier and then maybe hit one shot too many and get out. He void that chance. both approaches have their own risks and he backs himself to do it the last few overs way. Either we trust the executioner or we demonstrate how it is done better.

Yeah Varun, with so many arm chair experts around (including u & me), it should not be a tough job to demonstrate how well it can be done :)

really ? It has happened too many times dear. He just has the nerves to pull it off. He is someone who knows his limitations and plays within it and gets the job done. But we as a nation expect super heroes not people who do the job.

INDIAN MEDIA IS A JOKE
by cupid on Feb 15, 2012 06:05 PM  | Hide replies

sparring no words ,the media harassed Dhoni for his poor performance in test matches against aus. Now, all of sudden Dhoni is the eye candy for media people . My goodness - the maturity level of Indian media is deplorable .

Indian media and fans need balance big time. They either raise one to heaven or abuse like hell. Nobody can be in the middle. Imagine how difficult is decision making with these kind of people around. Everything is hindsight for them.

Team and capabilities.
by sanjay on Feb 15, 2012 05:56 PM  | Hide replies

Team and capabilities.
Weak suspects against slightest of bounce or swing
Raina ,Sehwag ,Gambhir ( just couple of half centuries for wins in Aus Eng
or SA out of 129 odd playes and talks too much ),

This is the 2015 World cup probables team
and we expect to win.
Dhoni knows his limitations and strengths.
He takes opportunities with them.
1 for him

Who will take on main bowlers ?
Right now Kohli shows some promise
But once cricketing brains all over world start sorting him out
and opposition try to keep best of the bowling resources
reserved for him. Real test starts then.

Will he come true even after all that
like Sachin or Dravid did last two decades ?
Most others also are good if bowl does not swing, bounce or spin.
And as long as short of good length ball comes below waist.

Fingers crossed at the moment.

more to follow on bowling and fielding.

sanjay , we are talking today for 2015. dravid has anyways retired from ODIs & sachin has failed miserably. so u r suggesting that sachin should continue till 2015 based on his past performance of the decade ( 2002-2012 ). then lets continue with all the people you think have failed now due to various reasons , bounce , swing , having been sorted out etec etec but they have glorious past. now i know you will cross ur fingers.

contd ,

btw lets pull out some playes who retired in the last two decades based on the glorious past - shstri , kapil , robin singh , sidhu , jadeja even dravid etc. now don't talk of age -remember we are talking of performance where only SRT & dravid count.
