Dhoni Was Let Down By His Own Teammates & also Oldies
by Indian Tribe on Dec 30, 2012 10:55 PM  | Hide replies

Sehawag and Gambhir do seem to support Dhoni perennially now trying to boycott him…
1.      The only sincere and talented Indian cricketer next to Sachin is Mr.Dhoni, which is why many so called famous old Indian cricketers after Dhoni to dethrone him.
2.      Indian cricket should look into talents rather than where the cricketers originate from.
3.      Virat Kohli is still a bachha and looks immature to take on pressure packed challenge.
4.      The so called big oldies are ruining Indian cricket talk big, but unable to understand the real problems Indian cricket is facing – problem is that Indian balling attack is very very poor which makes Dhoni’s job more difficult. So called old champions never suggested the balling talents who can match Pakistani attack.
5.      Sad about Indian cricket is that it’s the money that talks and not the individual players or BCCI.

Indian had better talent then Pakistan by far. But the rule of humb in life, more practise makes man better.

Having me said that, Pakistani players play in England county and Australia that our players do not. How will they hone their skill playing on dead pitches in local leagues

Sehwag should be sacked immediately - his records suggest so..
Virat is absolutely still immature and a long way to go.
Gambhir is unpredictiable and not a thinking player any more...

deshbhakth hindu, it is not true that dhoni never batted in the top 5 positions where batting is most difficult,,,perhaps you may not be aware of it but dhoni has batted in odis in positions 2 to 5 in 82 innings in odis out of his 188 innings so far...and here are his stats in those positions which should be eye opener for you and your ignorance---

82 matches 82 innings 21 not out 3874 runs average 63.50 6-100s 25-50s

so please see where your hero sachin stands vis-a-vis dhoni

db what has winning or losing got to do with it....i am talking of the innings he played under pressure...and for your info dont confuse me with those posters who blame sachin for making century in losing causes...i never play down sachin centuries if they are for losing causes...i only se e how well he played whether we lost or not...

Hahaha. Good desperation to try to show ur Dhoni is better than Sachin. But none believes u. For ur info Sachin has scored these runs consistently on all surfaces around the world and not only on flat tracks like Dhoni.

Dhoni came out to bat in the top order on dead pitches where he knows there is no swing movement. If he really has the guts, he should come in the top order on all surfaces.

To judge true class, a batsman has to perform on all surfaces and over a long period of time. Not like Dhoni who performs only in sub continental conditions.

Ask any cricketer and he will say that opening is the most toughest job because the ball is new and swinging and the bowlers and fielders are also fresh. On the other hand it is much easier when you are a lower order batsman. So your comparison is totally misplaced.

Lets have two more regular bowlers in place of Sehwag and Gambhir.

Lets say goodbye to 'Hope' that we aill have good start of the inning. That hasn't happened in years now. Have Dinda and Ishant open the inning and have couple more bowlers in the tail..

And Rohit Sharma again? What did Rahane do wrong?

India is better of without them both.
