Murali Vijay=Rhohit Sharma.... but Rohit will be playing for India for ever.... till he shines...because he is from Bombay...like Agarkar.... Indian team is crewed ...BTW- M Vijay is the top scorrer in the domestic circuit this year.....
pakistan playing like pakistan. i feel sad when pakistan looses against india after all they have lost everything except cricket. india allows them to win because we want to keep our guest happy.
Though pakistan own the match it was Dhoni's superb knock that set the tone of the match. He today showed why mentally and physically he deserves to be the Indian captain. Nobody else would have such physical stamina of the grit to fight from the situation in which he came in. I feel Rohit Sharma should realize this is his last series. In 90 odd matches he averages just above 30. If you want a man in team whose average is just 30 why not Yousuf Pathan who can hit the ball, field well and a bowling option
The occasion wasn't as momentous but the situation was equally critical. Dhoni came in when India was tottering at 29 for 5; Kapil had walked in when India was precariously perched at 9 for 4 and eventually became 17 for 5.
But Dhoni's innings in Chennai came against bowlers of greater quality. Pakistan, undeniably, has the most potent ODI attack in world cricket today. And the Indian captain's technique isn't the best when the ball moves sideways. But he gritted his teeth and applied himself — I know he was also dropped at 16 — hoping to ride the storm out. It was a test of his character and he emerged smelling of roses and marigold. And when the right time came, Dhoni unleashed the trademark shots to give his team a fighting chance. The shot he had played in the penultimate ball of innings to earn a boundary in the third man area had the stamp of brilliance. But, all that a commentator from Mumbai had to say in praise was: cheeky and clever.
I guess, for some, superlatives are meant to be used only when a certain cricketer bats. (this is only a part of the article)

How he deserved man of the match award? It could have been given to either Jamshed or Junaid.

Pl watch replay. The ball off which Dhoni was dropped was a no-ball. The bowler had landed on his toes (not on heels) which was a couple of inches beyond the crease. 4th umpire Asnani failed to take note of that.

Dear Ganesh ,
We all know who this comentator is. Famous for his slowest in a 60 over game. The false superlatives he used for that certain cricketer only led to the cricketers downfall as he was branded the best.. But in the end everything evens out.
With such a bowling attack, we cannot win matches. Unless we discover good bowlers, we are heading for such results in all the three formats. Whoever be the captain or coach, with this bowling nothing can be achieved. We are waiting for IPL to start so that this miserable team will not be on tv for two months.

AAbsolutely. Ashwin is an under achiever in his home ground. India needs 5 specialist bowlers. Dinda is a street cricketer. Selectors dont have faith in genuine bowlers

Fully agree. Also, we need to have a batting all-rounder, if not in Kapil's mould, at least in Roger Binny or Karsan Ghavri mould.
