Vin:
Pls kick if you want to. But kindly tell how one vacancy will be filled up by "hundreds of players"?
Also why should we be concerned with hundreds of humans craving for money and fame?

Sudden change of heart of commentators
by Deshbhakth Hindu on Dec 15, 2012 09:12 AM

Just a week back after the loss in Kolkata all commentators like Kapil Dev were asking for removal of MSD. Now they have suddenly changed their stance and are praising him over the roof. Wonder which match Dhoni won between the 3rd and 4th test for this sudden change of heart ???? PAISA-BOLTA-HAI ????

No, if he had an avg of even 35 (from his usual 54 something), the calls would have been very less. Or is it too much to expect atleast 35 runs from him?

It is relevant now. Or do you want his avg to drop below 10?

No. Would you like Pujara scoring less than 25 again? Or Sehwag scoring 20th duck again?

Infact Sehwag/Sachin/Dhoni/Zaheer havent done well for a long time all and deserved to be dropped.

Ravi open mouth for Sachin- if you are really honest
by DrAnirvinna chivukula on Dec 15, 2012 09:05 AM  | Hide replies

You blasted Dravid and VVS for not knowing their off-stump in austraila. The great Sachin who plays for records always quotes that he plays for the country does not know his MIDDLE Stump. What a shame that he is not bothered that team is in great risk if he plays with this kind of form.

Ravi Shastri will never say anything against Dhoni and sachin. Don't you know he is paid by BCCI to do that ???

How can he open his mouth and speak something against BCCI? Kapil Dev learnt it the hard way, Sunil Gavaskar/Ravi Shastri are shrewd to understand this..... Amarnath is flying now. Wait till his wings will be cut by BCCI.

I agree that Ravi Shastri is the most shrewd person. That is why he coined the name -Captain Cool for useless MSD.

Your diatribe applies to Sehwag and his MIDDLE stump as well. Proves that he plays for records too. Nay?

No1. Test Cricket Team- Right!! Only from Below
by Manu Nair on Dec 15, 2012 09:05 AM  | Hide replies

Hi
Why go only after Tendulkar? Sehwag, Dhoni and Zaheer have not done justice too, is it not time to drop them too as they are indeed concentrating on the T20 matches which would be held in the future. The BCCI and the selectors need to be tough enough and at the most they should put in transparency into the picture. This does show how transparent the BCCI is!!The BCCI is only a carbon copy though transparent!!

Useless
by Jiju on Dec 15, 2012 08:41 AM  | Hide replies

Useless topic. What difference does the viewers' opinion make to BCCI?
I have given up hopes on the following:
1. Sachin's retirment,
2. Salman Khan's marriage,
3. UPA being dumped from India,
4. India winning a series in Aus/SA overseas.

I will be indebted to the people who make the above possible!

What records?
by cc man on Dec 15, 2012 08:15 AM  | Hide replies

I see people talking about bis records. But where are the records?

1.Most runs - will be broken by Kallis
2.High Test batting average after Bradman - Kallis
3.Most hundreds - will be broken by Kallis
4.No tripe hundreds
5.Most double hundreds - Lot of batsmen
6.Match winning or saving performances - Kallis,Ponting etc

So, basically, unless he retires with consistent good performances, post his retirment he wont be regarded greatest after bradman and just will be regarded as one of the greats like dravid, lara etc.

There wont be any other Batsman who had 100 International 100s. There wont be any other Batsman who had 34000 International Runs. Sachin is Sachin. History says, There wont be any sachin in future. Bcoz, Most of the Players in Present and Past either Best in Tests or ODI. Kallis, Ponting, Dravid, Lara, Bradman and Cook etc are near to sachin only in Tests. Same like Kohli, Richards etc in ODI. The Plus point of Sachin will be , He is / was leading in Both Farmat.
