it is nothing surprising. in india we only consider individual performance and make them super heroes too soon. its difficult for these players not to get into their head. further they consider individual performance more than the team's success. the result shows in their consistency as a team. in almost all team games our status has gone down drastically. no wonder?
It appears that the all the members are not playing as a team. There is apparent lack of collective sportsmanship as can be seen from the body-language of some players. The missed catches should be investigated by BCCI and selection committee.
Indian teams debacle was clearly written over wall but we just kept ignoring the same fact. with current form and performance all the 11 slots in Indian team are open for selection but we consistently denied the fact and allowed some senior players to keep in team even they are not performing. we should have inducted player by player in each slot and the process should have started to atleast couple of years back, but we are not even able to find the players which retire couple of years back like no. 6 batsman after retirement of dada and spin bowler after retirement of jumbo. and test and ODI or T20 are altogether formats and we should respect the sancity of test cricket and groom our budding test cricketers to avoid play shortest format of the game atleast for initial years.
It seems that the series is already won by the Indians.The body language seems to be very negative and some miracle has to happen to get them going, "ALL THE BEST MEN IN WHITE"
If the controlling authority prevents these cricketeers for appearing in Advertisements/shows and restrict their remunertion commensurate with the performance as is being done in industries(PMS),then only we will get taste of real cricket,otherwise it is a national waste or resorces.

True. They are not taking serious on practicing.Also Media is to be blamed. Luckily there was no such media hype during Sachin, Rahul Dravid, Sourabh Ganguly, Anil Kumble& Laxman
