IPL Effect
by Santa on Dec 07, 2012 06:26 PM

Our batsmen and bowlers are used to 20 over format and all those post match dance parties with beautiful 1adies. I doubt if our team can play even a 50 over match after a couple of IPL seasons :-)

Spin
by Somu Panch on Dec 07, 2012 06:23 PM

Why no one talking about our so called great spinners pathetic display. Couldnt understand why Ashwin is bowling so badly. When Monty can take four / five wickets why cant ashwin. Ashwin lacks patience and he deserve to be in T20 only. Also when u take last four innings he never looked dangerous and moreover like part time spinner. Ofcourse he took fastest 50 wickets in test matches but that all in subcontinent. Selectors please drop players who are not performing or have rotation policy like australians

I DONT WHY THESE BCCI ARE NOT FORCING SACHIN TO RETIRE. HE HAS NOT PERFORMED WELL EXCEPT IN THIS TEST WHERE HE HAS SCORED A RARE 76 RUNS.

KINDLY LOOK AT AUSTRALIAN CRICKET BOARD,HAD THEY NOT SACKED PONTING...

THIS FELLOW(SACHIN) SCORES FOR ONLY ONE GAME TO RETAIN HIS PLACE BUT HE FAILS TO SCORE FOR ANOTHER 5 INNINGS.

HE HAS BEEN GIVEN A PETBOY TREATMENT BY BCCI.

??????? By your logic Sehwag should've been kicked out long back. And Kohli has failed in this series too. Dhoni's 8 match losing streak.
All Pet boys??? ;-)
BTW, Ponting failed for much more than 5 matches. So keep your cool.

It is the manner of loss

Any test match we can loose, after heroic fight. But here, from the first day itself, the opponent team is dominating and pained to watch our team play in this match. Will India surprise ?

No Replacement
by Shyam Sharma on Dec 07, 2012 06:12 PM

We were after head of Ganguly when he was at the peak of his career. But now ever after 4 years where is the replacement for no.5 slot. Same happened with Dravid and laxman. FORCED RETIREMENT AND HUMILATION. Now where is the replacement. Same think will happen in case of Sachin. First we should find players of similar calibre of these genius and then talk of their retirement. Shame....

sorry BCCI
by sss on Dec 07, 2012 06:09 PM  | Hide replies

It is hightime that the sports ministry should take over the future of Indian Cricket in their own hands .
It is only in India we see a private body representing a country .
Vested interests , narrow politics , business gains , etc now prevails over the game in the name of cricket conducted by BCCI .
And at the end of the day it is bound to reflect in the performance of Team India !
After all no curator can enhance the performance of the players by manupulating the pitch .
