Why no body including Media not talking about the poor batting/keeping/Captainship of Dhoni for the past 2 years ? Has he paid money to all not to write bad about him ?
punter has been in his sublime touch..its always a treat for someones eyes..passionate about his game and for the team..grt contributions to aussie cricket..but something that lingers in hearts of multi-million indians is his conduct during 2008 sydney test..that could have been avoided ..and also he broke umpteen number of television sets in various stadiums after getting out!
all is well about punter ..excellent player, excellent captain, except for the 2008 sydney test wer there was a war beyond the game...punter could have have avoided..but anyhow he is a grt player and need to salute his contributions to oz cricket..
Now just compare what would happen to Tendulkar! All of us are already contemplating his quick retirement, and HE has been given the authority to decide for how long he wishes to play?! Instead of the emotions that one got to see in case of Ponting, there would be voracious celebrations the day Tendulkar ever retires himself or be thrown out unceremoniously!
Indian lack honour and do never play for their country. THEY play for themselves, individual records, money ONLY. Thats the reason why England could rule this land for almost 2 centuries.

how does it matter if one plays for individual records or for country. Both being self cause.. playing well is important. So Sachin is a great player.
I love Ricky. Outstanding batsman, brilliant fieldsman and exemplary captain. Truly a legend of the game. In Australia, he's second only to the great Don himself
No doubt Ricky was a superb player but he had a very good team & world class bowlers to back his team. No pressure to perform in most of the matches. Sachin is in weak bowling attack team most of the period.Also had pressure from a billion people.
