SACHIN
by vasu c on Dec 03, 2012 12:26 PM  | Hide replies

though im not a die hard sachin fan.
i like him though.

BUT ITS VERY GOOD TO HEAR in blogs there are people's who wish he should too give chance to new comers and retire with PRIDE, RATHER than longing his play times.

why r u so hurry to give to new players.. so that you can keep cursing them too. Do you more than selectors?

You don't deserve to be a Sachin fan. Take it easy and don't try to sound wise here.

Sachin should learn a lesson from Ponting that he should also retire from cricket so that younger players can get a chance to show their talent for the country. Its high time that he should declare his retirement.

arrogant
by A V S Subrahmanyeswarudu on Dec 03, 2012 12:00 PM  | Hide replies

No doubt. He was a great player and his records speak volumes about his talent. But as far as his behaviour on the field is concerned, he was arrogant. When he won wold cup in India and Mr. Sharad Pawar was there to handover the cup, I still remember, how he and his boys arrogangly drove him aside and held the cup literally robbing it from his hands. Indians never behave that way. We are too far ahead of them in good behaviour. Anyways, a very happy retired life to him. His achievements are no mean to any great players' ones.

I am not really fond of Sharad Pawar. But you are correct about Pontings arrogance.

We indians are far worse and pathetic in fact.

Just read comments on Sachin in this forum to get a glimpse. This is after 20 plus years of playing for India.

I agree. Sachin has just made his debut. He has another 20 years of cricket left in him. Why retire so early and lose out on money.?

Whatever happened, it happened for good.
Whatever is happening is happening for good.
Whatever that will happen, it will be for good.
What have you lost for which you cry?
What did you bring with you, which you have lost?
What did you produce, which has destroyed?
You did not bring anything when you were born.
Whatever you have, you have received from Him.
Whatever you will give, you will give to Him.
You came empty handed and you will go the same way.
Whatever is yours today,
Was somebody else’s yesterday,
And will be somebody else’s tomorrow.
Change is the law of the universe

He was lucky not to face quality bowling like Sachin. He was not really challenged by great bowlers of the game.

Nevertheless, he was good just because he was an Aussie.
