It is high time Shri Rahulji takes a front role in Indian batting to save the Indian cricket team just like he is saving India from Hindu fundamentalists like Modi. Shri Rahulji with his charisma and style would become the crowned prince of India in 2014.
Golden days for Indian cricket are over. Once Sachin also gets retired, ourteam will become like one more westindies team for few decades. With the effect of IPL, players like Yuvraj & Kohli also may retire early and IPL will ensure that we cann't develop good test players in both batting and bowling. Thanks to BCCI's craze for money.
After turning ODI & T20 team filled with CSK layers. Dhoni & Srikanth are now on a mission to convert test team as Team CSK. Very soon you will have Murali Vijay relacing Sehwag, Anirudha Srikanth replacing Tendulkar, Yo Mahesh replacing Zaheer Khan etc. etc.

VVS did right thing by slapping retirement on Selector's face. Just last year, VVS rescued India to win couple of test matches in crunch situation. Everyone including this Dhoni seems to have forgotten that. VVS was the best wristy player after Azharuddin India ever produced. He always scored heavily against best teams like Australia.

Dhoni always feels insecured with senior players. He insulted them in quite a few occasions and worked against them.

Kapil Dev was highly over-rated player just because India won 1983 WC luck by chance. Same WI toured India to give thrashing test series defeat.

Dhoni, I think is highly overrated. Does he have the skill, temprament & class to take the place of the legends like VVS & Dravid ? Dhoni has time & again insulted the seniors. If he has the guts, let me come one down or in a pressure situtation & help the team win in test matches which is the most challenging format where there is no liberty of power-play etc to the batsman.

I am not sure why everyone is after Dhoni or wants to blame him for the retirement of Dravid, VVS or Sachin (when it comes shortly). These cricketers have already outlived their careers in the sport and retirement was just natural or should have happened earlier. Their stats of the last few years clearly show they are past their prime and should make way for fresh blood. Of course, the whole team's stats being bad in tests over the past few years helps their cause a bit but we should not get misled by that. As far as Dhoni is concerned, India has achieved a lot under him. Two World Cups in a short span of time and also the No. 1 test ranking. What more can you want of him? True, he is not a good test player but that he you have to adapt with the current situation and he has been raised in the times of bang bang cricket. There was no compulsion to make him captain of the tests but don't forget that none of the seniors showed good leadership qualities or the guts to secure that position. The experienced seniors were a disaster as well when India went down to England and Aus. Only Dravid showed some grit in England but thereafter was mediocre. Sachin has downgraded himself and is holding Indian cricket to ransom. You talk about Dhoni having guts to come up the order in tests in help the team out, well, he may not have done that in test but have to forgotten the WC final when he promoted himself up the order despite the in form Yuvi and hit 91 not out to take India home.
Think that they are the greatest because they score few cheapRuns against ClubStandard IPLTeams. Wait till they come up against Teams who were waiting for retirement of IndianGreats. So you think partying in postMatch RaveParties will save you now? Now we will see the fun. Dhobi still thinks that CockMilk fromRaina will help him score runs
32 year old Badri replacing 37 year old Laxman. Indian selectors really have great vision for future. Ajinkya Rahane deserved a place in Test team but Srkanth/Dhoni politics will never give this young man to wear test cap.
Indian Test cricket have really become a mockery with mediocre layers like Dhoni, Ashwin, Raina, Vinay Kumar playing this format.

Bradman tendukars are many but laxman is one.we cannot fill the vacuum created by VVS. Dhoni and srikant will have to take at least 10 janam to be like laxman u r third eye of lord shankar . shame on dhoni and shrikant. now it is impossible to win witout him any test match laxman is asli player baki sab nakli.
VVS U R great batsman it was march-2001 Oz touring india first test we lost in Mumbai within three days(SRT-100) Second was at Eden Garden india got follow on after good start VVS you stood there with Wall a attacking inning Under pressure with defence 281 runs & bold out Oz.. final day.(SRT took 3 wickets in short time)Since then Dada took a command with all of you SRT,VVS,Wall,Jambo& Zak india saw golden era in test ranking…………..Thanks all of you for giving full enjoy of winning And proud for cricket india.
