Ashwin deserves a place in the team one year before if not for harbhajan's past reputation,same yardstick applied to harbhajan should be applied to sachin, dravid, laxman,sehwag , dhoni or any one for that matter. Team should be selected based on current form. harbhajan should earn back his place. India cap should be not handed over on a silver plate. player performing consistently should be rewarded.

1) Sehwag 2) Gambhir 3) Dravid 4) Sachin 5) VVS 6) Yuvi 7) Dhoni 8) Ashwin 9) Ishant 10) Umesh/Varun Aron 11) Rahul Sharma India will play 2 pacers, 2 spinners and yuvi as the fifth bowler.West Indies know to play pacers and not spinners.
why praveen kumar has not been selected. he was the best bowler in england, the bowling looks to weak, ishant is good but cannot spearhead the bowling attack

Absolutely right, friend. Really surprising. No experienced fast bowler in the squad! Most probably selectors are underestimating Windies batting. They think that these bowlers are enough for them!
Opportunity should be given to youngsters and there should be no place for old horses like sachin dravid laxman yuvraj and sehwag who feign injuries against good teams and in bad times.Teams should be thoroughly revamped and rebuilt. Time to groom a new captain and rest Dhoni.
