I dont believe in match fixing
by Incredible India on Nov 21, 2011 02:31 PM

I dont believe in match fixing only spot fixing is possible;
You cannot fix a whole match as that would require atleast 3 to 4 key players of a team and even after that you cannot guarentee the result; so fixing match is little bit difficult; however spot fixing is a real possibility;
Cricket is very dynamic games and any moment can change the course of a game; and if you analyze each match you will always raise a doubt about every match being fixed; for e.g. can you digest a fact that Tendulkar was dropped 4 times in semi-final against Pak; specially with Pak team can we not suspect this?

Make proper inquiry
by Jose Sucorinho Antao on Nov 21, 2011 02:03 PM  | Hide replies

Kamblis allegations deserve a proper inquiry especially in the wake of Azhar, Jadeja, Mongia being dropped for match fixing. Many say see the way Tendulkar got out in the 1996 semifinal but it cannot prove it, as Tendulkar always flopped in crunch situations just see in the 2003 wc cricket finals against Australia Tendulkar was dismissed just for 4 offering simple catch to the bowler Glen Mcgrath. Again in the 2011 wc semifinal Tendulkar was lucky on 5 times to survive and in the Finals at Wankhede he almost gave heartache to millions of Indian fans when he was cheaply dismissed playing a wide delivery from Lasith Malinga. The only player who thrived in pressure situations and who came up trumphs to take his time to victory was the former Australian player Steve Waugh.

You see that Tendulkar flopped in crunch situation but dont u analyze the whole Indian team during nineties; they always fumble during crunch matches and specially when Sachin used to got out;

Cricket is a team game. It is not an individual game. So, if someone wants to fix a match it is necessary to involve 3/4 most important players. I can't believe that someone can fix a match without involving best players of side esp. Sachin who can win a match single handedly to fail a plan! It is also very important to note why Sachin get out cheaply in most of the crucial matches including this world cup final? Moreover, if Kambli knows about fixing the match but he didn't disclose this because he wanted to play for India, then his good friend Sachin must also be knowing these things and he cannot be afraid of being sidelined, then why he has not disclosed anything so far??

Kambli cannot digest the fact that players now a days earn crores
by Sheikh Akber on Nov 21, 2011 01:20 PM  | Hide replies

Since kambli missed out and messed it up, he cannot digest it that he lost his career way back where he couldn't cope up with the semi-final loss, he was knows drunkard but after loss he drown into alcohol and couldn't perform well to be in the national team, he completely lost focus, he couldn't digest the fact that players now a days earn crores or may be he is jealous that he once was compared with sachin and was a class player himself he has a pain in his heart which is making him do antics every now and then, even he termed sachin as selfish a while back, so these things comes out when you have lost so much but sadly due to his own indiscipline acts, he could have choose dignified life but now he is making himself a looser infront of cricketing fraternity and general masses. Whereas Azharuddin angle is concerned he needs to be probe completely, I bet since hansie cronje died some very dark secret were buried with his death, his confession rang the alarm and he may even be murdered who knows, since fixing was new, it maybe that most match could have been fixed, its very unlikely that the facts would be come out, azhar is now MP has money and power, people wouldn't be surprised if court finds him not guilty.

Stupidity

If you start looking at any cricket match, you can definitely raise doubts about the intentions of players. However, anybody who has played decent amount of cricket (at least college level) would understand that even a player at his greatest form would commit a silly mistake and lose his wicket. For example, batsman would like to play a leg glance and the ball might take the outer edge of the bat, only to be caught by the bowler or by somebody on the mid-off. These instances are very common in cricket. Problem that I see in our country is that everybody has an opinion about cricket, even if the person has never touched a bat or ball in his / her life.

Boss If tendulkar opens mouth he would be in Tihar or may be executed. Because he is most dangerous culprit and had benifited enormously bcz of fixing.
