Ugly Australian

That dirty thing has again opened his mouth. It seems they don't have any shortage of filth and dirt. Even their books are evidence of it. Hey CHAPPELL You are speaking so loud now. But who will claim the responsibility of Irfan Pathan's Career dooming? Dooming one promising fast bowler to an all rounder. Why don't you do it in you Australian team? Your own country even pay heed to your so called important suggestions, so why are talking again? Again any ugly business, man? It was Sourav Ganguly's, I think, ugliest decision to choose this ugly thing for India's betterment. But it turns a nightmare. If you have to say any more then come to India, I will slap you with my sandal, I promise, for your great job to Indian Cricket.

Useless Chappell - Frustated Old Guy !!
by David Thomas on Nov 09, 2011 07:45 AM

Chappell has no rights to comment on Idian Cricketing Legends. Indians has / had already proved that they are the World champions in all the 3 formats of the Game. Ganguly is one of the best Indian Caption india has ever produced. Infact all of the previous Indian Captions had enough talent and Leadership qualities. Chappell is a frustrated guy, Since Australia has lost the Cricket Domination in all the 3 formats of the game. Mr.Chappell has to think atleast thrice before commenting on Indian Cricketers ( Sachin, Dravid, Ganguly, Laxman, Dhoni to name a few .... ). The result is he (Chappell) had lost his credibilty and Image. I hope Chappell will not involve in petty thing like these in the near and Far future...

He is making money
by Raghavendra Ravi on Nov 09, 2011 07:42 AM

Ganguly might have had his faults and Greg Chappel is not a saint either !! He wanted to control Indian cricket by imposing his will. It is for the selectors to keep or drop Ganguly - Greg Chappel does not like any body who can oppose him - he found Dravid ( a good cricketer, but one who would be more pliable to Greg Chappel) and tried to mess around with Indian cricket.. of course Indians will pay huge sums of money to any white !!

Chappell was always controversial but Ganguly was no saint either. They were a good match for each other OR shall I say they complemented each other pretty well :-) .. Even in frist couple of seasons of IPL Ganguly was always having some issue or the other with KKR, No wonder he never got picked during the last auction..

change needed

Indians need to shun hierarchy in team sports.Still slaving in the mind to seniors as clearly pointed out by Greg.

reg: Chappell's book
by sivakumaran subash on Nov 09, 2011 07:15 AM  | Hide replies

Chappell is a courageous man and being an Australian, not emotional but more a practical sort of guy. It was indeed unfortunate that he could not understand the psychology of Indian players. John Wright was able to get along with the same Ganguly and other seniors. It probably called for understanding the cultural ethos of the cricketers and then reworking the mental part of the game. The culture in India is that we do not speak against our seniors which is very much oriental. It takes some understanding and Greg could not get around it.
