Mahendra Singh Dhoni the Greatest Captain EVER of Crciket Now
by Tong Tong on May 29, 2011 09:56 AM  | Hide replies

Congratulations, Dhoni&CSK warriors, Dhoni, you have shown to the world that you are the greatest cricket captain ever of not only india but whole world cricket history. But Let us Get Real,Folks¬ concentrate on a few players who have made name and wealth.. It is time india and poor countries ban Test Cricket and 3 day macthes forever and Play ONLY T20 matches so that millions of man or woman hours are NOT lost watching monotonous test crciket and 3 day macthes, etc. BCCI and rulers are still behaving as slaves of Westerners, shame they have appointed white skinned westerners as coach, assistant coach etc paying millions of dollars though we have excellent indian coaches like jimmy amarnath, madan lal and so mnay other who can do better jobs than foreigners. BCCI and government must NOT allow more than 2 foreign players in each team and that will gove greater opportunity to indians as well. What a shame that BCCI and rulers are behaving as slaves of westerners even now or are they getting huge kick-backs in the deals involving forein players, etc, Millions of cricket fans must not allow our country to be looted again by foreigners and goreign business houses any more.Hope millions of indians are listening and that they will take necessary action to give justice to indian public and indian players and national honour and pride too.

MSD is astute Captain with Midas touch....His personal batting performance has been very avg in IPL as well as in WC 2011( except in final in WC)....

Good Captaincy and commitment should be criteria not the individual & selfish records...

Congratulation CSK..well played as a team... CSK team plays on merit and not on any other criteria of slot for minorities as an appeasement policy which some teams follow and failed.
merit should be a criteria and this should be lesson for others frenchies who have political reasons like SRk desperately trying to promote Pakis....

Good show...Rambha good ...

All this captaincy hype doesn't last long.
Earlier Ganguly was hyped for captaincy.
But how was his end? Humiliating in last one yr of International cricket & IPL-4 no one ready to take even as player.
Politicain like ganguly, dhoni ( who always eat credit of other match winners by manipulation) never retire gracefuly.
Its only genuine player & match winner like Sachin, sehwag, dravid, laxman,Kumble , zaheer etc (who are based on skill) are respected in long term.
This captaincy hype hysteria works only in India as people can't delink politics & sports.
Otherwise no one give damn to captaincy.
See collingwood was captain of last year T-20 wcup winning team of england. This year he is not even selected in team because not performing as a player. It is quiet fair.
But in India people are so much obsessed with politics/manipulation/leadership- they apply same in sports & wrongly overhype captaincy

Being humble is the biggest virtue of human beings. So you can be humble and enjoy your victory. One thing I cant understand is that CSK is not a tamil team until all the playing 11 are tamilians. So we should not take credit when non tamilians are playing for CSK. The team's base is in Chennai and doesnt mean all tamilians are great coz CSK won IPL , so if we had lost does it mean that we are lesser than others.

If we are really good then we dont need to show off to others , ppl will automatically recognize us. So lets be humble and give credit for all the teams for playing the best and made IPL successful.

Akshay you accept or not its a fact that Chennai people are the most knowledgable in all aspects. They treat sport like a sport and appreciate all good sportsman be it from their own place or anywhere else or the opposition. Everyone accepts this fact.
Coming back to your say that CSK won because of Dhoni, Hussey,Bollinger & Raina youve got it completely wrong. Yes there was a good contribution from all these players but Badri, Ashwin, Murali were also huge contibutors. Aswin & Badri contibuted all through the tournament and the final was a Murali Vijay show combined with ashwins brilliance. No other team can boast of the local talent like Chennai. So get your facts right before commenting

dhoni greatest manipulator & luckiest captain.
Always eat credit of others.
any captain is as god as his team,
In final also when he saw score 159/1 promoted himself so that he can score few easy runs, ramians not out & boost his strike rate/avg. this he is doing it for last 5 yrs.
Even in final its show of local players Vijay/ashwin/jakati but this useless politician will eat all the credit.
His batting limitation was seen when he faced 4 dot balls to zaheer. But he will always score runs against ordinary bowler like Gyle/Mithun.
It was a known fact that CSK team is strongest in home condition & clear favourite to win this cup as final in chennai.
If captaincy could win matches, CSK would not have lost 5 out of 7 league matches in IPL-4 played outside chennai.
Its team composition, no. of match winners & form of players win matchs & not captain.
Dhoni luck is going great way for last 2-3 months but same will not last forever as form is temporary & class is permanent & dhoni never had this class of great player

Ragi muddas, I can remember that atleast 7 players from the 11 were from Karnataka once when gundappa Vishwanath was the chief selector, and it would be no surprise that he favoured them a lot. Immediately when his tenure was over, it was just reduced to Srinath and Dravid. When Dravid was dropped from the national team for poor showing, entire ragi muddas protested saying that they will not let any international games to be played in bangalore. You funny creatures and fanatics, no one in this world likes you and hence you are alienated. Just look at the way people of TN are accepted world wide and you ragi muddas are just confined to your state. Ir-reformable ones. It may also interest you that it was Srikanth who score was the basis for India's 1983 world cup win, Ashwin's wicket of Shane watson in the quarter finals made it easy for India to go to the following rounds. Else it would have been curtains for India in world cup 2011. Do you understand this or are you ragi muddas still with Vatal nagaraj
