Murali Vijay

Vijay is an exceptional batsman...he is the best we have provided the bowling is not too fast, the pitch shouldnt be bouncy, the ball shouldnt seam around, the ball shouldnt spin, the boundaries shouldnt be too long - he is then just superb

exceptional post. yours is certainlybthe best we have provided you're sitting in the comfort of an a/c rom, not having to face the elements, an uppity pitch, and bowlers bouncing u at 150 kmph( less than 1/3rd of a second....do u even comprehend how difficult that is?)....stop being a cretin prakash. Being a Bangalorean can't be an excuse for such crap...so shake it off dude:-)

All your above criteria apply to medicore batsman than MSD.
Vijay far superior batsman than useless MSD

Well Played CSK
by Mac on May 29, 2011 01:27 AM

CSK thoroughly deserving winners of IPL.

RCB fans with high hopes should understand that RCB managed to reach finals only because of individual efforts of Gayle. If Gayle flopped, RCB also flopped as they were losing so badly before Gayle joined RCB.

Last year MI also reached finals because of some individual performances of Pollard & Sachin but in the end side with the team efforts won.

CSK is the best team in IPL with their consistent performance every year. Good to see Indian hands lifting IPL & Champions League trophies. We do not want foreign white captains with the winner trophy.

Well done MSD & CSK.
Its your night, party hard brothers.

Undoubtedly this proves that Dhoni rules. If he is the captain, his team will win every tournament

AAa bbb u ahve no brain.
I am from Bihar & admit that dhoni is simply on luck/politics.
If captaincy win matches India couldn't have been out in 1st round of two consecutive T-20 wcups 2008 & 2010.
also this IPL-4, CSK lost 5 out of 7 matches played outside chennai under same captain.
Dhoni with bat is always a medicore.

Infact, he lead India... for whatever you say... to the top most spot... in every version of cricket in the last 1 year. If it was luck, then, lol, why didnt anyother captain acheive this... even any captain of the other teams of the world ?

beacuse no captain is allowed to be captin of team after loosing two sucessive T-20 wcup in 1st round, ICC champiionship cup 2009 in 1st round, Batting failure for 25 consecutive innings & still continue in team as a player as well as captain.
See how collingwood is thrown out of england T-20 team eventhough he was captain of winning side of last T-20 wcup for 2010. Just beacuse he was not consistent with bat as a player

The Chennai openers, Michael Hussey [ Images ] (63) and Murali Vijay [ Images ] (95), put on 159 runs (in just 89 runs) in an impressive display of controlled aggression to all but seal Bangalore's fate.

Again an Indian captain (dhoni) wl lift ipl trophy. The best thing that can happen in ipl. Ideally whn its ipl, every team shud hv an Indian captain so that Indian cricket lovers wl see an Indian captain lifting trophy. It ws again proved that Bangalore is one man army i.e gayle. The match in which gayle failed, Bangalore also failed. Well again congrates to dhoni, being an Indian, won n lifted the trophy.

sonu,
u r right. csk ws the best team n deserved to win. second best ws Mumbai bt inconsistent batting let them down else they wr the best for more thn 10 matches. bangalore ws dependent on gayle. bt the best feeling is to see an indian lifting the trophy. congrats to dhoni n his team.
