Stupid Article.
by DakshinaMoorthy G on Mar 21, 2011 07:47 PM  | Hide replies

This is a downright stupid article. Cricket needs no promotion in India and hence there is no need for hoardinds and advts for the World cup. India is the most cricket crazy nation in the world. It is obvious from the fact that most of sponcers are from India.

The answer is: THERE IS TOO MUCH OF CRICKET PLAYED BY INDIA". I still cant forget the excitation I used to be in 90s before Sharjah Cup, Pepsi Cup and the likes. Now We play more cricket.. Every month we have cricket.. If we loose in current series.. no worries.. there is a series in next month. If we loose world cup..no prob. IPL is there to watch. ICC should take this into consideration and limit the no of series India play in the coming years and Save Cricket.

Earliers days less matches were fixed and people believe the Players even though Kapil forgets that he should have been bowled the 50th over not 49th over and Gavaskar playing 60 overs and still making only 36 runs in a loosing game....

Stupid people's Stupid game

Silly

I am sorry to say, but I think the article is downright silly. How can you ever compare Indian sentiment and excitement with countries like Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, which are smaller than many Indian states. Please understand that WC is big business and tourist attraction for these small countries and they hope to make a business out of it. Whereas that is not the case for India. Well tourists are welcome, but as an economy we are far more mature and not dependent on one off events like this.

We enjoyed the WC 2011 with some cruciel matches like Slanka Vs. Pakistan, India Vs. England, IreLand Vs. England. I disagree that it was a boaring WC. Yew we expect more from our team and we r waiting for such incident.
All the best to our Indian Team.
