If you see the reason for every match we lost in history, We never lost because of Sachin's slow century, but becuze ALL THE OTHER PLAYERS completely FAIL to perform when sachin has performed, Best recent example was match against SouthAfrica, If sachin gets out quickly, ppl say he failed, but when he performs all the others FAIL, Looks like DHONI and his POLITICAL GANG OF PLAYERS Deliberately FAIL and LOOSE the match when SACHIN PLAYS, there by make look like we failed when sachin plays,

which makes SACHIN much greater becuse he plays when nobody else could perform, Dhoni and his GANG getting trapped in thier own plans,
He thinks sachin can play 50 overs in all the matches, and sachin get outs because he wants to(u really think hez god?) . he says sachin is selfish to score centurty and then get out.. but if he bats for 50 over he may get 200 as he did earlier. do u see any rational for not being selfish abt 200..
Sachin will win WC....I read somewhere on web that......Sachin is very lucky and succsessful, because he is a son of "Satya Saibaba" By the blessing of his holy father Satya Saibaba He will win WC...

I agree to your point to some extent but for heaven's sake dont compare sachin and aishwarya in their fields.While sachin is a Phd in cricket,aishwarya doesn't even know the A,B,Cs of acting.But for her miss world title,i dont find any good reason for her ticket to bollywood.

dear valantine,
i do not know whether you would read my reply or not. my question to you and all sachin bashers is can you people single out one innings in his 48 odi centuries that because of sachin slowing down after reaching 90 for the sake of scoring century india had lost a match. on many occasions he scored boudaries and sixes when he was on 80 or 90 odd runs.
he will only play according to the need of the team and in the process if he is having a chance to score a century he will play for it. since sachin had scored more cenuturies than anybody else in the game it seems that he is playing for it.
moreover, he got out 15 times in the 90s and another 10 times in the 80s, he could have well converted atleast half of that if he had played for his century alone and not for the team. it is the extraordinary talent of him and insatiable hunger for runs makes him score more and more centuries.
so what bothers you people if he scores centuries without disturbing the cause of the team.
and my sincere request to you is please do not try to pull the legs of our pride sachin even if you do not support him. know the stats first then blog.

Valentine has a skewed perception of playing for the country. dimwits like valentine can just be armchair critics. They are not even worthy of getting into their gulli teams, leave alone international cricket.
Now these armchair critics pick and choose scenarios that they deem worthy. I mean seriously, these arm chair critics have zero qualification to judge even their gulli nukkad players and here they are trying to grab attention by making statements they themselves have no clue off.

my dear stupid valantine...I understand you've been playing international cricket...learning...persisting and performing... displaying acute mental stature and strength...shouldering the responsibility of getting the best of starts to the team for over 40 years. You've been a wonderful team player...and your place in the team has been assured because you were able to superhumanly win games for them every single time....as opposed to normal mortals like Tendulkar and Ganguly and Dhoni who faced failure despite the best of intentions and efforts. Congratulations Mr. Valantine...you're the only one who has the right to criticize Tendulkar...and all the other "over-rated" people in the time. Next time, ask the selectors to play you singlehandedly, versus all the opposition in the world. You don't have to worry, cause you don't want the "limelight", you are a team player!!
I am not a great cricket fan but try to watch matches now and then. Yesterday, I was watching the match between SA and Ireland and was astonished at the way Duminy built up his innings and the way he got out at 99 going for a six where he could very well gone for a single and made up his century. He knew that his team needed runs on the scoreboard rather than a single. My simple question to all those self-professed admirers of Sachin, "Would Sachin have gone for a single or six had he been in Duminy's place? I have seen many a times the way Sachin slows down once he is past 90. The simple fact is that our team is a bunch of over-rated, spoilt to the hilt, overpaid players. No one including Sachin plays FOR the team, it is just they play AS a team.
And I feel that Sachin has had a successful career so far simply because his place was assured in the team no matter out of form, injuries, etc. How many players have had that luxury? For eg, the unceremonious exit of Ganguly..... The other players have always had a knife dangling over their head, it is just perform or perish. I agree that Sachin is a legend but the sad fact is that other players are not given their due. Aishwarya is to Bollywood as Sachin is to cricket. Some people never want to leave the limelight.
