It's the thing that team management decides. btw he played 1 down in CWC2007 when Sehwag and Gambhir refused to play at any other position than opening!!! Sachin has also played at 4th position... but due to his performance as opener he is finalized for that position.

btw, match winner is not the guy takes winning run, it's the one who makes contribution big enough to make win pointer to his team. This could be a bowler or an opener or a wicketkeeper also!

If you don't know any of this, then you know nothing. :)

Have you achieved what you desired. You know that you blast any other name in cricket and no one will respond to you. So all you do is blast Sachin and become famous. You are a cheap parasite that is feeding on the name of Sachin Tendulkar. Can you please mention what you have achieved in your life. Well, reading your statements its pretty clear that you couldn't ever get above being the lowest scorer in English in your vernacular medium school. Quite an achievement of consistency I would say. I hope you understand what I have written. Or do reply. I will repeat the same in any language you understand.

A certain cricketer commented, very squarely,
without qualifying his remarks with ifs and buts, that Pakistan will win the World Cup. Pakistan, under Imran Khan won the World Cup. Nothing remarkable. Except that cricketer was Sunil Manohar Gavaskar. A man who was, and is still admired by Pakistanis as a most worthy adversary. The Pakistanis rejoiced in their victory. But what added to their joy was the
unequivocal prediction of Sunil Gavaskar. Such was the impact, that the then Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif, extended a formal Tea invitation to Sunil Gavaskar.
Of course, as many oSachin's knowledgeable critics will say, the Pakistanis are stupid foo_ls, who don't know much about cricket. And of course they are absolutely right! LOL

It is unfortunate Sachin's valiant effort did not see the light of the day. He is a tragic hero whose sacrifice is made blunt by his teammates. Sachin still dominates the cricketing world with his sheer magic. It is ironic still Sachin has to prove his mettle. God save our country.

Whether he scores or not, India will lose because others (except Sehwag) are utterly useless. So, the question of match-winning doesn't arise at all. So, just chill and atleast let Sehwag and Sachin make some quick runs, quick records and quick bucks. And stop cribbing!!

Anyway, once these 2 retire, India will be competing with Bangladesh, Holland, Kenya, Canada, Chile, Peru, Ghana, Sudan and Honululu for ICC rankings starting from 8th position!

Last 7 batsmen got out so cheaply - whose fault is that - not Sachin's! 1d1.0ts like you keep repeating the same nonsense expecting it it become truth?
