Can't believe the regionalism is back in style, Vijay can't even score 50 and Mukund had no idea of the balls, inside edging pretty much regularly, can't believe these Ranji flat pitch masters get to the level of test crickets, Badrinath looks like mentaly retarded guy, has no clue of where the ball lands, IPL junk cricket pushed him higher and now he thinks he is star ..lol, test cricket requires quality, Dravid, Sachin and others took years to get there..that's what is class is all about..

Manish Kulkarni mukand played well in this match. Vijay still good for test match. What other players pujara, kholi in test. This is tough test match Mukand played very well. Even dhawan, naman ojha, tiwary etc not played well. Why you only point tamil nadu player

it is great to see tamils all around they r the best. it was krish srikant who showed the world how to bat in first 15 overs. i rate him above sachin and sehwag as the best opening batsman they r all bachas in front of him. the present ideal team should be Murali Vijay Mukund(the best opening pair in india rt now) Dinesh kartick Badrinath anirudhh srikant(he is our pride as was his father) R satish(even sachin respects his skills) S raina Dhoni(capt)(since they are loyal to us they can be continued) Ashwin Yo Mahesh S Jakati L balaji

plays once in 20 matches, no sens of responsibility, the guy has become joke when it comes to batting, it's just that he is damn lucky because guys like Sachin, Dravid, Laxman help him out in tests and new crop of young players like Kohli who badly got exposed in this match when it comes to test cricket style, Yuvraj and as always Sachin help him out in one day, just shocking stupid Indian media thinks he is doing all this because he is Mr cool..the guy is just plain lucky !

There is nothing like 'plain lucky' in the long run. People could have said the same thing about Steve Waugh. Was he lucky to have a strong team. Even Tendulkar had a strong team. Did he succeed before as a captain? To be a captain, you need inherent refined qualities to be a leader and Dhoni has all that. You forget his 'cool quotient' and all that bullshit. Look at his leadership skills, ability to lead from the front and perform in crunch situations both in the field and with the bat. He has all the qualities to be a successful captain and will be hard to replace and strongly proven otherwise. All in all, he is a good..err..a great captain. He hasn't become the most successful captains in the history of Indian test cricket by being 'LUCKY'.

Mr rahul Partnership between mukand and dravid, harbajan and raina make India way. If mukand or drvid out for single digit. then india may get only 100 runs
Everyone knows Vijay and Mukund are not talented to make to Indian team. Instead of these two, it is better to give opportunities to cricketers like Rahane, Rayudu, Rao and Pujara. The above four are far far better than Vijay and Mukund except that the above are not tamils. If Srikanth is so interested, he can select Vijay and Mukund to Indian A team till they retire. Another waste fellow is Badrinath. He is very good against Assam, Mizoram and Nagaland where he scores triple centruries at minimum and increasing the average by 60 Points. He is not good against weak attack of Mumbai.I am not sure what he is going to do in tests. Already he failed miserably in ODIs.

Even kholi didn't face short ball. But mukand played very well. But u mentioned only tamil nadu players. Still badri is better player in test match than kholi

Badri scored a double hundred against mumbai not so long ago in Ranji (Check cricinfo). He scored again, against Rajastan last year in the semi-finals. I agree with you Vijay is a waste. Mukund we need to give a fair chance, before coming to conclusion.

Prasad - First of all, I didn;t see the necessity to select Mukund when Rahane is doing a good job. Rahane, Pujara, Rayudu and Rao needs to be given opportunities before going to Mukund or Badri. Anyhow Badri's footowork is not good and is not a test material.
