Imagine Indian team losing to the 'B' Grade WI Team! Then would you have said whtz da hullahullo abt? The pressure was all the more on Dhoni & Co., because if they had lost, they would have had lots of egg on their face!
This looked like a warm up fixture. Not a single spectator in sight. What happened to famous carribean spirit? It is used to be such fun in the stands in carribean. But now no one is interested.

It's not about too much Cricket going. I think everybody's watching - and more are watching -but on their own TV sets. No wonder they sponsor all tournaments, no wonder they get the 'eyeballs' and no wonder they make their tonnes of money through ads. Cricket is now a corporate game, very much alive and kicking! Don't be disillusioned by no spectators on the ground. It's enough if there are 22 players, plus the reserves, and the umpires and then the TV Units! It's a different 'ball game', nurtured very efficiently by the consumer driver companies, the Tv Channels, and ofcourse, the coffer-full prosperous and prospering cricket administrators like BCCI. Players don't mind, there is windfall of money from everywhere, including the new Srilankan Premier League!
India’s No.1 ranking is mainly due to its batting. Four Greats like Sachin, Sourav, Rahul ?& Laxman followed by the fifth Great – Shewag. Look at India’s Test Record since 2001- be it Sourav or Rahul or Dhoni, we’ve own almost everywhere. And go through the record …you’ll see either of these “FAB 5” had played an outstanding, out-of-the –world knock. Sourav has left; other four are on the verge of their retirement . I don’t think Virat or Pujara or Vijay or Raina or Rohit can be fit for these big shoes. The class is not there anymore.

Come on. Dont make too much of this knock - he was lucky to be dropped off a simple catch when he was 6. He is one player who contributes least to the team - who will not even run after the ball when fielding - who will not stand in close-in positions in front of the wicket and who has to give way now in favour of younger players who contribute much more to the team. But now he will be assured of a pla for the next 10 years - thanks to the selectors/media.

But in today's time class doesnot matter, runs matter and Raina,Rohit, virat, badrinath,Pujara and Manojtewari all are cappable of scoring ton's of runs.
It could have been much easier for India tha what they did. Howevr congrats. It was always a struggle for India with reduced attack totake a win But Kudoos. I think Harbhajan stated concentrating more on batting abilities than his bowling skills. Nowdays he is not taking wickets at will as used to . But batting well. Happy India has pulled a great win.

You need to understand that we are missing key players as well. I am sure if Zaheer and Sachin would have been there, we would have done much more easily.
We should stop playing test cricket. There are only 5-10 players currently in the world cricket who has the capability to fight and stay at the wicket for longer period of time. This mode of cricket should be reduced to 90 over game.
