Federer is undoubtably the more talented. But Nadal is the one who applies his brains, and prepares with a strategy against Federer, and almost always wins. Indians on paper are better, but they were thoroughly unprepared.

Hmmm.... ok
Now we will see if Nadal can apply his "brains" and "strategy" against the Djoker ..... he has sure lost his swagger this year with 5 straight finals defeats.
Me thinks it is simply a mismatch between Fed and Nads - just like how this year Djoker 2.0 is a mismatch for Nads.

Federer was no 1 for almost 4 and half years continuously while Nadal was no 1 for first 11 months and then 13 months. And lets see how Djokovic can defends all his points next year and stays on no 1. But Federer has already proved this so nothing to prove for him.
England played well, outclased India in the match, but jus criticizing Indias No.1 position is not correct... India toilhard beat beat teams to get there, but Media always have this problm. Media cant tolerate the success gained by India.... & so many people r criticize India & its player on rediff even sum Indians... I never saw this by any other teams fan... not even by Pakis who knows there player r Professional Fixers....

keep on dreaming! It looked like a match of men vs boys. The series score is going to be 4-0 - a white wash like it was in 1974.
Apart from batting and bowling, the fielding performance of Indians were pathetic. The veterans could not dive or even bend. The so called quick fielders raina & yuvraj (sub) were leaking a lot of runs. Saha and Mukund were always running after the ball to the boundaries and hardly won the chase. Rest were slow starters. Even school boys show better aggression.
superb display by england and it was a treat to watch Jimmy Anderson bowl the way he did. There is not any appreciation of way England played in Indian media , instead it is all about how badly India played. If India wins it is how good they are , never recognise the opposition efforts. That stupid idiot Saurav on Star Cricket could only say how India are poor starters aand even went to the extent that England cannot pick 20 wickets in a Test just when India were 60 for no loss in 1st inn. It is a torture if one listens to him and Wilkins ( an Indian chamcha)
This test was a throw-back to the pre-Kapil era. The Indians were meek and defeatable right from the day one. Batsmen like Dravid and Laxman played for over an hour for 10 odd runs. Fielders dropped catches at random.
Missing was the zest and desire to win - those boundaries, those sixes, aggression in the fielding. Only thing worked was bowling by Sharma and Pravin. Dravid played his role of "wall" in the first inning but the wall collapsed in the 2nd. VVS should retire now.
Bring back the younger players - Yuvraj, Kohli, Badrinaths. Don't field players like Abhinav Mukand. Was South Lobby responsible for this?
Zaheer's ham string trouble means two things - either he did not warm-up well before game or medics ignored an old injury.
Poor fielding reminded me of Indian team from 70s. Dravid and Laxman dropped easy catches. Dhoni was lethargic behind the wicket. Abhinav Mukund was pathetic in the field. Poor leadership by Dhoni and he was devoid of any strategy against Kevin Pieterson.
Releasing an ad mocking his senior player and his dead father before the test was in very poor taste. By bowling himself at the peak of english innings, Dhoni showed his casual approach and gave a message that he had already given up on this test.
So, what are you going to do - Mr. Dhoni? Play it "large" or play it "different" again?
