Feel bad for Redirr editor when he says However, new batsman Virat Kohli eased the pressure a bit with two boundaries in Tsotsobe's second over, both through the extra cover.

It was some other batsman and not Virat who came into bat

Another selfish blunder by Dhoni

promoting himself and his chacha Raina over the in form Pathan. Both failed miserably with the bat. Now the pressure is on the pathan and sardar to follow. If they deliver, Dhoni will crow on the team's success. If they fail, then Dhoni will go blah blah blah our players did not follow the plan and apply themselves etc. to the press

I think sachin should learn from younger players in the team about to play for india and how to dominate the bowlers. After so many years,he has centuries but never won a thrilling or critical match for India. His absence in india gave india a t20 worldcup.
Just because of his image, no one is removing him from team. hence sachin should himself take retirement from cricket.

Your father dhoni again choked under pressure & out for 2.
Last inning he made 5.
He has never scored a single 50 in his entire career when India chasing & under pressue. He is the biggest liabilty & choker in team. Must be kicked out.
Thhoug with luck & Yusuf/kohli batting, india may still win the match.

SA always in Backfoot
by bharatpremi on Jan 21, 2011 11:58 PM  | Hide replies

Due to some mysterious reasons SA players are letting the matches go out of their control and conceding defeats.
This happened in Durban Test when they were bowled out for 131 and in ODI in Joberg adn Capetown.
Today also they run themselves out 3 tims for unnecessary reasons without logic.
Are there any kind of match fixings?
Or the players are pleasing their indian franchise officials?

To include Kohli in tests means Raina has to vacate. If dhoni removed his pal Raina and selected Kohli over Vijay, then Dhoni's goose will be cooked as he will lose support of his CSK master Srinivasan. Srinivasan is the head of idli/sambar brigade and a disciple of Sharad Pawar, the maratha goon who would always ensure that average players from Bombay got preference over talent from other regions, Tendulkar being the sole exception.

Bigeest goon is northy dhoni who keeps chance to all his northy cmcha friends like raina, nehra, mchawla, RP,praveen etc without any performance.
Srikant & any mumbai player are much more neural & fair.

Unimaginative captaincy
by VENUGOPAL on Jan 21, 2011 10:55 PM  | Hide replies

Totally unimaginative captaincy by Dhoni as he did not attack the batmans when SA were 5 down for 119 instead he was happy to let them take singles.Without any pressure, Dumny, Botha and Peterson took singles on almost every ball as the field was spread out. Had Dhobi put more fielders in the inner circle then tailenders singles would have cut out and they would have forced to take risk by going over the top and loss their wicket in that process. I don't understand Team managements continued interest in a such hapless player like Rohit. Despite repeated failures why he is given chances after chances?

Unimaginative captaincy from Dhoni again
by Rushwat Pawar on Jan 21, 2011 10:41 PM  | Hide replies

Our batsmen may still win this match for India. With Zaheer, Munaf and Harbhajan going wicketless and conceding over 6 runs per over, Dhoni used them to to their full quota. Yuvraj and Nehra were economical and among the wickets today. In fact they shared the four wickets that fell today, the others being harakiri runouts aided by some sharp fielding. Yet Dhoni underutilized them, leaving 6 overs to spare on the table between these two bowlers. Not every bowler is effective in every match. It is the captain's responsibility to guage who is effective, and who is not on a particular day and marshal resources accordingly. Alas, Dhoni is not a thinking captain.

Nehra may be economical but he has given around 10 odd runs by fielding skils.

wrong ... if we needed a spot fixing captain, we had the best in Azharuddin hehehe. Even in that area, Dhoni does not merit captaincy
