IPL is just foolish stunt for diverting Indian cricket minds and it is Just time pass event for Old cricketers and wasting time of Indians.
This event should be banned at any cost because Education is neglected by children and growth in all other aspects is effected by this event.Indian government should take corrective action to stop this stupid stunt.

Education is grossly over rated. therer is no need for so many of them with no ambition drive or passion to go to engineering and other schools. they could diversify and do something that they want instead and excell at it. And cricket and IPL is churning such market inside the Indian lands at the rate of an NFL or EFL...which is great for our economy and thus creats more growth then one can fathom.

RCB and KKR got more star players, but that does'nt mean they got a winning combination. I think Chennai is the more balanced side followed by Delhi.. Team Kochi is not bad either.. Muralitharan is a match winner.. and if Macculum plays to his potential they can be a dangerious side..

Look out for KKR this time
by shlok on Jan 11, 2011 12:31 AM  | Hide replies

I think KKR have done a fabulous job this time. Good Mix of explosive batsmen, Terrific allrounders and bowlers. Spin will be one worry but think they have enough to go past semis.
Shahrukh has done well by not sticking to Dada this time just like he has gone away from KJ...

Money for the defeated Aussies
by ABHIJIT ROY on Jan 10, 2011 11:26 PM  | Hide replies

Australia has been walloped by England, three innings defeat; but IPL is full of unheard, unknown & uncapped Aussies, why? If they had so many talents, why were they not picked for their national teams?
The answer is that FOOLISH IPL FRANCHISE OWNERS has appointed Aussie coaches, who let these unknown worthless players earn huge amount of Indian money, and take some kickbacks!!!!!!
The Indian Government and the BCCI should investigate this.
THIS IS A SERIOUS MATTER.
