........ is the under-the-table number 2 grease component. Other number is number 1 component. I only hope it is not the reverse order! I'm lovin' all that grease! Eh!
God knows how much chances BCCI will give to m.vijay, nehra & yuvraj!and ignoring talents like manish pandey, robin uthappa & saurabh tiwary!!!srikkant & co.pls wake up before its too late.

I agree Yuvaraj is the worst player currently. He is living only with past fame. Dhoni is also a big buffoon captain who dont have any talent.

Did you forget Sewag? He has been given nearly 20 chances and included everytime. Afterwards, they have excluded him from the team. After a period of 6 months, he has been included in the team and from then onwards, he is playing to his standards. Sometimes, he is not getting his original form. Likewise the BCCI also, have soft corner for these too.

No doubt BCCI want to hide the talent of young generation of Indian Cricket Players. If not what's the need to put this condition unnecessarily. We came to know the talent of Saurbh Tiwari, Ambati Rayudu, Manish Panday etc. in last IPL only otherwise they will ignore by BCCI as they want to do now.

Dhoni's adverse remarks during the test series in South Africa have shown the door to Sreesanth, arguably the best 2nd bowler in India after Zaheer. The captain will have to suffer for this!

It is a known fact and he has shown recently in India against NZ and now in SA. Select on merit. This is not the time to settle your personal vendetta.

Dada and Kallis have least strike rate ... But atleast Kallis has better average in crunch matches. Abd Kallis is good bowler and fielder than Dada

Dhoni strike rate was 105 with only one god inning. failed in all other matches. Dhoni is even more useles than dada in T-20. See his records in T-20 intnl. No fifty in 26 matches, no match winning inning , pathetic strike rate of 99. Only on luck & politics
This is ridiculous. Selection commitee decides the money. Saurabh Tiwari, just because was picked for India team once gets more than 7Cr Rs and Manish Pandey who was the lone century scorer from India in last IPL has to live with 30 Lakh. Similar fate awaits Rayudu, T Suman and host of other well prforming young Indians ; and most of all, Chirayu Amin warns if uncapped players go to other franchises for money action would be taken against them! Come on, this is ridiculous; we wanted IPL to increase the number of players who can get more money compared to those chosen the selection commitee.
1. Mumbai - To have an "anchor" who can rotate strike at will, improvise, up the tempo whenever needed, averaging mid thirties with a 140 strike rate, i dont think you can expect anythign better than this. - Overall looks best team. Only negative for me, Sachin's captaincy. (Not that he is bad, but i suspect with the kind of command he respects few would suggest/challenge his moves/strategies and so the captainship pretty much becomes single dimensional with less thoughts coming form elsewhere)
2 Hyderabad - Their plan was straight forward; just get rid of everyone they previously had. Missed a trick by not having enough local stars; will have to rely very heavily on foreigners. The team though looks good on paper though.
3. Chennai - Their plan was straight forward too; get everyone they had previously had back. To considerable extent achieved that othat than losing Murlidharan. Remains to be seen how much they miss him.
4. Kolkotta - Bowling rests mainly on Lee, which is a gamble, dont remember last time when he bowled. Apart from that aspect good team with some top allrounders(Kallis, ) around the world.
5. Bangalore - Lost the trick by letting Kallis, Peterson/ Taylor and also Uttappa go ( They could have had utthappa for much less comapred to the market value he fetched). . Overall I think Banaglore team in the previous editions was much stronger.

6. Pune - They can't rely much on their catchment area and unlike all other teams(except Kochi) dont have existing contracted local uncapped players from previous editions, and so had to fill up their rooster as much as possible from the auction. Considering that aspect done well to come up with a team that looks balanced. They seem to lack foreign players who can make regular impact.
7. Punjab - Looked consfused during the auction; most interesting thing was letting players like yuvraj and irfan go and then bidding for them desperately in the autctions. (for yuvi and irfan they bid upto 1.5 and 1.8 resp..This is the same amount they could have retained them for) The only reason they didn't continue bidding for them beyond a certain point during the auctions was becasue they didn't want to bid for them more than what they could have retained them for (and look stupid). eg irfan..they stopped bidding for him exactly at 1.8.
8. Delhi - Looked confident during auction and seemed to know what they wanted. But must now be feeling they lost the plot by letting Gambhir go to start with. Overall ended up with weaker team compared to last time particulary the bowling department.

9 Rajastan Royal: They retained Shane Warne implying they still have faith in his abilities. Still bought Botha for a whopping price (generally you dont buy two spinners for whopping prices) and if that was not enough were later still bidding for Murli Karthhik (3rd spinner) Also remember their purise was less by 2 m.
10. Kochi - Dont know what they were upto, trying to bid for almost everyone, but not desperate enough for anyone. Looks like they didn't have a shortlist of players they wanted. Have few impact players who can change the game in a matter of few overs.
