With just three days of the match completed, it is easily one of the best test matches in recent times. We have already seen Masters at work (Kallis and Sachin) saving their team and some excellant bowling from SA. Waiting for two more days for exciting test match....
STEN was hit for 3 sixes by crappy Indian bowlers..Sachin who is known as GOD of cricket played a cautious knock and if he really wanted to win..he would be hitting bowlers like sten all around the park..
Such knows are played by players all over the world then why knock from sachin creates a big fuss??

SA is no longer great like before..even player like Ghambir is scoring 90 so whatsthe big deal if sachin scores?
if team india is no 1 in test they should dominate SA and not play the way they played in this series

comparing two is foolish..they r different kind of bolwers...donald was more of a hit the deck bolwer..a bit like morkel..steyn is sultan of swing..that too at great pace..as he pitches the ball up..so some times he shall get hit..and tailenders like to hit..so sometimes he shall get hit..both r great bowlers..

Zhan....Tu...Hitti ng 6 is not a criteria for merit... SRT came to bat afrer 2 quick wkt failed..and tailender came when Ind was almost at par with SA score of 1st innings...Stop fa rting from mouth...

And just for record Steyn is easily the world's best bowler at the moment. Except for Sachin no one survived him this test.

but the gt demolised in india and sri lanka..every team has a weak point..
ofcourse india arent as dominnat as australia..
also being hit for 3 sixes from slogs doesnt mean anything..all bolwers inclduing murli mcgrath and donald have been hit like that ..

Sachin is his own problem. He has become bigger than cricket. Whenever he scores, it seems like sachin against 21 other players...even bradman was an introvert...and his team mates and opponents thought, he is selfish..becos it is so difficult to match them..so others r naturally jelous of them..but just consider, if he had not scored..the match would have almost decided by now...so stop criticising sachin as some people r doing...he has own so many games in last few years both in one day cricket, in finals and test match...it is ridiculous to call him selfish..

i am fan of sachin and love his attitude towards the game.But his tenure is not helping budding cricketers a chance to represent the country.lot many talented young cricketers are not getting chances because of senior players.sachin should help these cricketers.

Who says new players aren't getting chances. Pujara and Raina have got chances. Also we don't want Sachin to retire before we have a solid replacement for him. If somebody is better than Sachin only then he should be selected ahead of him. It's a simple logic.
3 points implying sachin as best ever and god of cricket ......
1. don bradman is considered as greatest batsman not sachin, sachin is considered god of cricket not don bradman. god can not be equal to or lesser than anyone,
hence proved sachin is greatest ever.
2. sachin is considered run machine and a machine is always perfect, but sachin is a human in reality , and only god can be machine or perfect. again proved.
3. and finally , as we expect everything everytime from real god , so we expect sachin perform everytime , this again proves sachin is god of cricket.

My request to everyone that please don;t talk negatively about Sachin. He did lot for our country in cricket. The only thing missing is Luck. There are lot of innings which are remember due to his brilliant counterattack. The reason why india is in winning situations with Countries like South Africa and Australia is due to Sachin. He instilled the fear in world class bowlers which served as a boost to our batsman. Look at his innings in 1990's. Almost he carried every match on his shoulders. Most of the time, he walked at the end of fist over or by fifth over. Maintaining consistency over 20 yrs of time in cricket is not simple. We need to respect Little Master as he is still carrying the expectations of whole country. India became a good force in test cricket now. Now it is the time for selectors to start selecting some good backup so that they will ready when big three retires.
The first session, Steyn to Sachin and the second sessio Steyn to Sachin was one for ages. For those who missed it, try and watch it somewhere . It was a classic contest. Reminded me of the clash between Sachin and Donald many years back which ended with Donald getting one through the gate. This time Sachin came up trumps. Gr8 Gr8 BATTLE.
