I really dont care whether India lose or win. Nobody will remember this test match result or this series result after few months or years. But everybody will do remember that on this tour Sachin scored his 50th test century. And that is what matters to me as an Indian also. An Indian has so many records to his name. Take a case of Brian Lara. Nobody remembers how many times West Indies have lost during his presence but everybody do remenber 375,400 and 501.
They came to india and lost ,and said that it was due to spin friendly pitches. come to our grounds and we will bounce you out. except first day at centurion indian always score more than them, even winning at durban where pitch was like acattle field. For all those who have any dobut about indian dealing with short balls, sachin, laxman, doni, gambhir has given agood reply. Even after Zak is back indian bowling though not looking furious but was enough for S africans to tell their batting standards. I am pity sure tomorrow they will not able to pass 170 and india will win this test match and series. All buck will stop for ever, any comment derren gogh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you dont know hte first thing about criket. If you knew you would have a different take on sachin. Every great player said this was one of his best batting displays. Why did not other players last. The pitch and the bowling especially was such that he had to play like he did else if he had to loose his wicket early then India would have been wrapped up for within 150 and lost by an innings and something. SO first learn your game before you shoot your mouth. else you are just talking likea moron.
When sachin scores 100 whole of India creates a hype..Laxman has played far better knows than sachin but his knocks fade soon..
This knock of sachin was crap..It was so slow..God cannot be so slow..He has to demolish the bowlers..Many peope have played such knocks but when sachin scores its a big deal
New commer like Ghambir i scoring 90 against this SA attack so if sachin socres 100 whats the big deal??

Test match is a game of patience. Test match doesnt mean that a batsman has to slog every ball. T20 and ODI are of that format where you cant afford to miss any scoring chance. Test match tests the skills and patience of a overall cricketer be it his bowling skills or batting skills. So when you say that Sachin played slow doesnt matter in test cricket. Indian batting was not in a condition to attack the south african bowlers, because beyond expectations SA scored 362 runs and we lost three wickets in a quick succession.Bad luck for Laxman who was run out in unfortunate way and next Dhoni and Pujara turned flop. Hence Sachin had to anchor Indian innings. If Gambhir would have played for more time then I would bet that Sachin would have delivered flurries of boundaries and would have played more fast. But the situation demanded that Sachin would stay to bring Indian batting to some respectable score. If sachin would have played faster at that stage,The chances were that India might be all out below 300 runs and SA would be having lead of 60 to 80 runs min. Why dont you join some coaching class for cricket and learn atleast some theory of cricket(Forget practicals.your post shows your knowledge about cricket.People like you are worth only in commenting on somebody.Join some coaching class on cricket and increase your knowledge)
smith is an ambitious and arrogant guy who will definately give india a fighting total to chase..but there is a point...with all good work of sachin in first innings...all hopes of india winning will lie entirely on one man "virendra sehwag"...if this man gets going, which hopefullly he does,,even target of 250 - 280 can be chased by india on final day....if he fails then only rain or laxman can save...
All Sachin basher dimwits who think Sachin scores for himself and not for India are now in hiding after this great knock on such a difficult wicket. They must be eating there own s**t which they used to spread on the message boards.
