YOU NEED TO SEE A PSYCHIATRIST, HOPE HE MIGHT HELP YOU. STUPID PORKI
Guys we had lot of talkings abt Tendulkar's performance. His centuries are in vain,he plays for records etc etc..But one thing for sure at the age of 38 we are seeing the exemplary technique, footwork, physical fitness which is basically lacking in new generation cricketers.Hats off to Master
Should Dravid be sacked as his last hundred came in a match against New Zealand and has not been in thick of runs - if he has to be replaced who should be the new candidate? Yuvraj? Pujara? Raina? or maybe Vijay? If Vijay bloggers will be upset on Srikkanth as they both are from chennai. The other 3 guys were all given a chance and have not performed.
The same issue will come to fill laxman and Sachin's spot in 2 years and we will be like Aussie team...so selectors should rebuild and ask Rahul to step down.

Dravid should be sacked without any further delay. Yuvraj should be brought in his place...
Re: Re: Should Dravid be sacked?
by Salil on Jan 04, 2011 10:36 PM
since we dont have a good replacement..for dravid, dravid will stay....unfortuntaley.
wish Pujara had clicked in this test...that would have been curtains for dravid

Y don't u just shut ur dirty mouth ....Rahul had averaged 87 against New Zealand when the rest of the other guys had failed... Talking abt the south African tour even south africans are struggling in their own backyard...
Re: Re: Should Dravid be sacked?
by Salil on Jan 04, 2011 10:38 PM
EDGE, the truth is dravid has lost his edge, and these days getting lot of edges while batting. :p
Re: Re: Should Dravid be sacked?

But its very painful to watch Rahul these days. He hangs around too long for the 5-25 runs he contributes these days..

Di Pi..Sachin is God of cricket and one of the best human being and a great citizen of India and world..Now whats wrong in playing him often in media ? A single guy who influences 1 billion population cannot be just any guy..Forget about his only cricketing laurel...What is Olympics etc...anything which gives nation a pride is better tyen any so-called events you mentioned..Take it easy..God made 51st Century against best fast bowler :-)
Re: Stupid Media
by Moral Brigade on Jan 04, 2011 10:27 PM
We Indians do not give a damn to Olympics..we live for Cricket. You like it or not does not matter. Sachin is the God.
Re: Stupid Media
by bang bang on Jan 04, 2011 10:24 PM
My point also. We lost the first test by an innings, and all that media talked by Sachin's 50th hundred.
Re: Re: Stupid Media
by Chuttad Prasad on Jan 04, 2011 10:32 PM
media talks what people want to listen, and sports is what people want to see, everything in this world is done that's soothing for the majority, which is no sin anyways
Re: Re: Stupid Media
by Salil on Jan 04, 2011 10:31 PM
had he not scored...we would have lost by much more than an innings..and in the process humiliated much much more...to the point we would not have been abkle to come back in the series...

Di Pi:
:) Even APJ Abdul Kalam didn't get any Gold Medals in Olympics... nor did Sir CV Raman... To the best of my knowledge even Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, and Rajguru failed on your acid test...
BUT the stupid media still keeps on talking about them.... no? :)

DI PI, cricket is not a Olympics sports, If it was then "God of Cricket" would have done that long time ago. By the way I would suggest to get a mental checkup for your "pee wee brain".
So after Kallis's superb innings lot of people say that its him who is d best batsman in d world and he plays for country etc. What happened to him in wc99 and wc7 semifinals aginst Australlia in spite of backed with a brilliant team. The fact is its a team game. Most of the time a good player can only win matches if the team performs good. See Ponting, once the brilliant people of the team were retired, he himself found it difficult to score even a fifty in spite of being a great batsman.. Having said that i did not mean to compare anybody and its not really fair to compare their individual record as they played with different teams and different circumstances. So all of them are great players of world cricket and should have duly respected..

Because Dhoni is lucky for India. During his captaincy, India has never lost a series. That gives me hope that India will not lose this match...

DHONI SURVIVE ON LUCK, SACHIN BY HARDWORK, FOCUS AND DEDICATION, THATS WHAT MAKE A LEGEND
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: What About Dhoni????

Dhoni's luck is actually the determination of the likes of Tendulkar and Laxman.

YES, YOU SURVIVING ON LUCK I HOPE BY LICKING A$$ TO SURVIVE.. I CAN SEE THAT, NO WONDER WHY YOU STILL LACK BEHIND
My request to everyone that please don;t talk negatively about Sachin. He did lot for our country in cricket. The only thing missing is Luck. There are lot of innings which are remember due to his brilliant counterattack. The reason why india is in winning situations with Countries like South Africa and Australia is due to Sachin. He instilled the fear in world class bowlers which served as a boost to our batsman. Look at his innings in 1990's. Almost he carried every match on his shoulders. Most of the time, he walked at the end of fist over or by fifth over. Maintaining consistency over 20 yrs of time in cricket is not simple.

What about pujara. You always say against regional. Please accept vijay is fair better player than pujara
Re: Re: Please don't talk negatively about Sachin
by Balaji Krishnamurthy on Jan 04, 2011 10:59 PM
Pujara is still finding his feet in international cricket. Let us give him time before judging him.
Re: Re: Please don't talk negatively about Sachin

Still mukand, ashwin, badrinath, from tamil nadu deserve to play. Dont spread regional
Re: Re: Please don't talk negatively about Sachin

Pujara scored as badly as Raina. What's the point of getting him in?
Re: Re: Re: Please don't talk negatively about Sachin
by cricket on Jan 04, 2011 10:39 PM
HI bang bang this kumar always spread regional here please check is old post. He repedetly say utthapah, pandae, etc are fair better than vijay. This pandae, uthapah have less first class average compared to vijay, mukand, badrinath. During tour of India A team in west india and england only pujara, mukand, performed well in both format. Rahane perfomed well in only test format. But this kumar always spread against vijay and etc from tamil nadu

In the 1990s he was the captain of the team. Why didn't he pick good players? Whose fault is that?
Re: Re: Please don't talk negatively about Sachin
by bang bang on Jan 04, 2011 10:20 PM
Sachin, as captain, has the dubious distinction of being one of the most unsuccessful one. During his time, India was dragged through the mud. Why wasn't he able to inspire his fellow players to play well? Is it because he is too self absorbed?
