Congratulations to Kallis, and I hope he breaks Sachin's record of 50 odd centuries, if only to prove that it shouldn't take 21 yrs to hit 50 Test centuries. Had Brian Lara and Steve Waugh also continued playing with walking stick in one hand and the willow in the other it would have been interesting !!

he got chances, he bowled 29 overs and only Zaheer (29.5) bowled more balls (only 5) than Sree
well, i am an ardent fan of Tendlya.. he is one of the all time greats to play this game.. his love and passion for the game are impeccable.. his love for the country is limitless..
but, having said that, i would rather send Sehwag, Dhoni or Bhaji to the crease if Indian needs 6 runs in the last over to win the world cup.
i hate to say this but it is very true that he has stumbled way too many times to consider him as an outright match winner.
he is my favorite but reality is different and be accepted.

i agree that there are few.. but a man who has played almost 600 international matches, there could be more..
he is greatest but may be his over patriotic nature makes him stumble or take too much out of him at the crucial stage..

Sachin can see the future. At the begining of the match he know that this match will either be a draw or India will lose. Accordingly he scores a century and creates a record for himself and whenever he knows that this match India is going to win he dosent score in that match.

It is not my theory. It is for the people who regularly bash Sachin, as if Sachin can see the future.
Why cant he bat freely like Sehwag? He should understand that we are playing to win...deliberately trying to block even mediocre deliveries is not a good tactic as the scoreboard doesnt move....so eventually when u get out, then team comes under tremendous pressure. You cant be that dumb not to realize that!!...huhhh

Dude...first of all its not "ur" Sehwag...its "our" Sehwag...Secondly, if u dont think that in last 2-3 years , players like Sehwag and Laxman have "definitely" been more effective in "winning" test matches for India, then probably u r not following Indian Cricket !!! ...

100% right.... He and every Indian batter should bat like Sehwag... A score of 130 would look oh so nice on this pitch and a result in favour of South AFrica on the 3rd day cannot be beaten ... :)
BTW, if only Laxman took to your advice; the series could already have been decided in favour of your South Africans, no?.. :)
