Sachin a pundit
by sonam kapoor on Jan 03, 2011 09:01 PM  | Hide replies

Sachin can see the future. At the begining of the match he know that this match will either be a draw or India will lose. Accordingly he scores a century and creates a record for himself and whenever he knows that this match India is going to win he dosent score in that
match.

lol@sonam...you seem to be a true fan where logic goes out of the window (I love Sachin, the cricketer, but your theory doesnt make sense).

It is not my theory. It is for the people who regularly bash Sachin, as if Sachin can see the future and accordingly he decides to score or not to score. This was a tongue in cheek comment for Sachin bashers.

;-)... and by the same Logic, VVS Laxman the True Selfish batsman, ONLY plays when he knows India is going to win, so that he will get all the credit... Else he doesn't even bother, like at Centurion... :)

Now please say "Well Said" to me too... :)

well, Gambhir is surely better than Vijay, but Vijay should be given a chance by replacing the Great Dravid. This will be a value to the team.

Vijay play much better than gambir in bowling ground. See some ball only vijay strugled in last match. In first innings of first match he face 65 ball. He almost out for 45 ball. And get only 4 run

Brat of the team!
by Hari N on Jan 03, 2011 08:53 PM  | Hide replies

Sreesanth's on-field antics come as no surprise to anyone! Rather, he would surprise the whole world if he behaved civilly towards others, especially the opposition team members! In short, he is an audacious and arrogant fool, full of chutzpah! Team India would do better without this lout and bumpkin!

Well Mr Johnny!

With people like Sreesanth, no wonder cricket is no longer a gentleman's game! Let that pagan Sreesanth take a leaf out of the books of bowling greats like Anil Kumble, Srinath, Muralitharan, etc. He is nowhere near them as a bowler or as a human being!

come on dont let his personality bother you...he is talented and needs to control his emotions...but that is probably what makes him lively....as long as he follows the rule and team keeps him in check (like Dhoni's public scolding) I think he should be allowed to play as long as he performs.....dont make it personal dude..:)

dravid and shewag are under pressure from in and out (media) whereas brother sachin is free from pressures relaxing after eaten several chances. Why sachin has never fell out early in test and ODI, well failure records also speaks.

Sachin is under pressure all the time by people calling him selfish....I agree with sonam that "Aisi selfishness sab ko mille" :). However, I was surprised with Sachin's play in the first test where he didnt farm the strike to protect the tail enders and didnt even attempt to save the innings defeat...being the senior player I think he should have protected the tail from the bouncers...I was surprised the Indian media didnt say anything about it. Now that seemed a bit selfish.

He's busy not hitting any singles of Harris. Usual, cos against Steyn he will be khargosh.

Busy letting Gambhir take the strike vs. Steyn.

No body seems to be giving credit to this guy JUST BECAUSE HE WAS

I think the seclectors will be acting next by removing Sree from

Sehwag a white elephant for Team India
by Common Man on Jan 03, 2011 08:22 PM  | Hide replies

Seems Sehwag has yet again thrown his wicket away. It's time BCCI dropped him from Test side and chose someone more determined to stay at the wicket and not put other batsmen under pressure. Despite his past records, Sehwag needs to curtail his 'natural game' and play as per the pitches and the conditions. Had BCCI persisted with VVS, the way do with Sehwag, VVS would've had many more records to his name.

All future replacements, as long as Srikanth is chief selector, will come from TN. Is Sehwag better or srikanth's son or nephew?
