World Cup format is worst
by abdul nazeer on Feb 20, 2011 07:59 PM

Everyone knows that all the top 8 teams will qualify for quaterfinals, except for bangladesh vs westindies. So whats in store for the league games except for the records. In quaterfinals, your favourite team if loses, there's no interest. In a knockout fixture even a bangladesh can beat india. Does anyone endorse this, means that last 3 games winner will be the cup holder. There is no 2nd chance after the league games. India even if loses to england and south africa, will still qualify.

India has got a legend that no other country and few azzholes from our own country cant digest it. Our people spent more time on degrading the proven talent rather than accolading it.

There are some people who are simply jealous and try every reason to say some thing about Sachin.
It was very clear that Sehwag was accepting the mistake. Sehwag played well no doubt but in that particular moment we all saw that he was quick to go back and ground his bat to make sure he would not be out when both Sachin and Sehwag were on one side.
Sehwag doesnt run much and he didnt have the habit of making quick runs.
While there is no need for Sehwag to sacrifice his wicket for Sachin it was evident that he wanted to save himself in that situation rather than saving Sachin.
If I want say something similar to Sachin haters, I could say he wanted to use the chance to score runs against low class teams.

Sachin is a Past now
by Ian Chappell on Feb 20, 2011 07:19 PM  | Hide replies

I think Sachin will retire without world cup like me and my dear brother! He is a spent force now and can't compete with young legs. He is not enjoying the game which has been his most strong point over the years . He is just playing the game for the sake of wining the cup. I saw no intensity in his body language otherwise it's really rare that Sachin gets out in this fashion. This run out has given me clear indication that Sachin's best is now gone and the guys who are talking about his next world cup playing chances is all rubbish !

Austalia would NEVER WIN the world cup again. Cream the following reasons on to your body and get enlightened:

1) They were hurt where it hurts. Sleding not yielding results.
2) Fall of Racist Bucknor. Thanks to BCCI's muscle flexing strategy.
3) Fall of FAKE greats who used PERFORMANCE ENHANCING DRUGS. Thanks to BCCI's muscle flexing strategy.

I cannot believe someone to fall for this crap. Unfortunately people like Ranga are making us look complete fools. Also cannot believe someone to find so much time to find so much satisfaction on doing these things.

Notwithstanding Chappel's comment the runout seemed a normal one. The run seemed risky but there was a run and sachin had reached the nonstrikers end.So it was not the case of sachin not reaching the crease.More over sachin's speed in getting the run never looked like a ageing leg. Chappel has completly lost the objective it like that his ageing brain is misguiding him

No Sehwaq didn't run him out...

there was never a run there...

and why are we always talking about Tendulkar...

Sehwaq scored a massive 175 wow...

Also we don't need a tendulkar or a shashtri or a gavaskar to win this world cup

The young team india can do this...

sachin's runout
by Jugal Ahuja on Feb 20, 2011 07:07 PM  | Hide replies

sehwag was lucky that he plundered bangladesh's(BD) bowling, by hitting a massive 100, & india won by a big margin.otherwise his running out sachin(india's darling)could have called for his head. after sachin's dismissal, the two mumbaikars (shastri & gavaskar)criticised viru for not taking the run(which was non-existent,as per live tv transmission)saying that it is necessary that sachin should remain for india till the 45th over to pace the innings. had sachin remained so long, kohli would not have got his 100, as sachin's strike rate is much lower than viru's & india could have landed up with a score around 300-315; & who knows BD could have got home, thus whatever happens is good for the side.sachin's runout saved india from an embarassing situation.

if sachin could survived for 45 overs, then there was a chance that india had made 400 runs.. dude, dont blame a person with jealousy and what we need to worry is now not abt our batting ...

We NEVER know if Dhoni would stab us from behind!!!
by Emporor Ashoka on Feb 20, 2011 07:01 PM  | Hide replies

In this WC, London based Bookies have received huge amount in betting! More than 80% ppl put the money on India and claimed India would lift the WC. These Bookies are not ordinary ppl! PPl like Dawood are beind this business!

If India fails in the Final, these Bookies will be rich in a day! PPl who bet for India may loose their money. Dawood and his company are always booking the Captains First - if the Team India fails - then something like "100 Crores" can reach the hand of Dhoni. Dhoni can retire with a glee!! If he does not play good that can cause India's failure and still he can get that money! The Bookies can also influence some BCCI Members (ICC Chief Pawar is notorious and he is a friend of Dawood!!) for this job and the communication can reach Dhoni indirectly! Even a bad decision taken by Dhoni can result in this eventuality!

Dhoni has already formed a group in his team! This can make that job easier for Dhoni! May be Dhoni is planning exactly this! Last match win comprehensively against Bangladesh has attracted more India-favored outcome in the Bookie Market that is handling NOT Less than 500-1000 Cr this time!!

It is not a fiction! In the past: Azhar, Cronje (SA), Gibbs (SA), Pak (almost all of them) have been involved in such partnership with these Bookies! Dawood's men are not weak, they can do any impossible things possible in this WC! We can see this in the next Matches!! We never know!

You really don't know how much of money INDIAN PLAYERS earns these days? Dhoni is already officially earning 50 crores anually. He cannot FIX a match to play badly. At the most it can be another way around as one would expect INDIA to flop at crucial junctures!... Hope U got the point...
