spoken like a loser
by David Coulthard on Feb 10, 2011 10:12 PM

Whatever said and done, The cricket-crazy nation wants a world-cup, period. Dhoni's statement gives rise to speculation that he is not confident.
Maybe he thinks IPL is the biggest frontier (T20 cricket to lead-in). Disgusting.
Anyonw who watched 2010 Football World Cup would know what I feel.
Evasive tactics, especially on the part of a so-called national team is deplorable (Team India is NOT national team)

As Captain,Dhoni develops clicks and groups in the team.Harbhajans press conferance alleging fast bowlers didnt put in their best to win the third test was Dhonis ploy only. His intention is clear. He wants to avoid some body against the interest of the nation.George V J

During that time he was a new comer and now most teams seems to have sorted him out so he cannot play that attacking cricket now. But I am amazed by his statement that this is not a final frontier. If it is not what the hell is?

WC is the final frontier.

Dhoni WC might not be the final frontier for you, but it is for the millions of Indian Fans. I know it's ridiculous to have crazy expectations. But all we're asking is play a good game and do not embarrass the nation like you did last time.

Agree with the last part. But i believe he is saying not to make it the end of the world. I honestly dont hold that high an expectation of India in ODI compared to tests, purely due to our habit of taking it easy once in a while. ODI needs more focus. I hope this team surprises me.

I would rather not have a match winning knock from him, that being indicator that our top order collapsed. Not good. :(

Varun:

But a few double digit scores from him will definitely make us feel that he is captaining a full 11 man squad.... isn't it? :)

Let the Best team win. It should not happen that minor team topples a very good team and gets beaten poorly in semis, depriving us of tough fights amongst leading good teams.

lol. Maybe he should now fail with CSK to prove that he was concentrating on WC. Funny indian logic.
