I agree with Premraj. Dhoni is making buffer zone in anticipation of failure. We should forget about cup and enjoy cricket.

Dhoni's quotes are already prefacing an early exit. So don't worry coz world cup is not a final frontier!!!! LOL

India will always have high expectations from its cricketers
by Common Man on Feb 10, 2011 07:44 PM

For a nation of a billion-plus people - 99.999% of which play or follow cricket closely - Team India will always have the pressure to deliver. Cricket is to India, what soccer is to Brazil. But, having said that, it is likely that even if India wins WC-2011, some critics will still say that they are not exactly No.1 as they won on favourable conditions at home. So, Dhoni and team should just focus on giving their best on the field, regardless of the results. Of course, India's win will cheer up billions of Indians, in times like these, where survival itself is becoming a challenge thanks to the spate of scams and govt apathy to inflation etc.

Why is this guy
by Indranil Chowdhury on Feb 10, 2011 07:24 PM

Farting around? World Cup is the final frontier, holy grail etc. You try to sell cocacola, pepsi, castrol, shoes, cell-phones so hard, why don't you try to focus on bringing the world cup first instead of defining frontiers. Please get out of cricket sort out priorities and come back to the team.
