one thing you should know that in world cup you know about the real fight what is called.. But in IPL its all about the entertainment of the game not the real fight.
'World Cup is being played in India and we're expected to win'
Real meaning >>
This is such a burden. If it was being played in some other country we could have made excuses like the pitch and other conditions were bad and unplayable but since the World Cup is being played in India, we have no excuses to give.

You just said what I wanted to write. These goons have started to give excuses even before the games started.

we hope so.. But there are many other teams are there which are also consider as very strong team ..like australia pakistan srilanka... So we have to fight for it. It does not matter in which country it host .
he has to ride on others success... shame on these cricketers who put not the country first but self fame first...shame on bcci cannot go beyond fame...
That the 34th National Games is finally being held in Jharkhand is a miracle in itself. And that the sporting extravaganza has been resurrected after six postponements because of years of political instability is a measure of the resolve of the current dispensation led by the BJP’s Arjun Munda.
During an interaction with the The Telegraph after about a month of being sworn in chief minister, leading a disparate coalition of demanding regional allies, he had declared, “Mein karke dikhaonga. Two hundred per cent National Games toh hoga hi hoga. (I will get it done. National Games will happen 200 per cent).”
Finally it’s on. No matter how. A handful of wise men, all bureaucrats with experience, became the workhorses once the state government put on hold a vigilance bureau inquiry against senior members of the National Games Organising Committee, and decided to go full throttle on hosting the Games.
A sports complex the size of four football fields, housing as many as nine small and big stadiums that took three years to build, now stands tall in Hotwar in the outskirts of the state capital. Beside it is Khel Gaon, a 56-acre residential complex of apartments, to house over 7,000 sportspersons and officials.
Over Rs 650 crore spent and Ranchi has never looked so international.
GUWAHATI, Feb 10: Assam contingent accorded a warm welcome when they reached at Ranchi yesterday to take part in the forthcoming 34th National Games which is scheduled to get under way from February 12. The president of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) Suresh Kalmadi himself was present at Ranchi railway station to receive the team.
Talking to The Sentinel over telephone from Ranchi the chef-de-mission of the Assam contingent Premadhar Sarma today said that Kalmadi and few other officials of the Indian Olympic Association were present at Ranchi station to welcome 187 members of Assam team. Kalmadi also talked with the players and the officials of the Assam continent during his brief stay at the station.
Sarma added that the inaugural ceremony of the 34th National Games would be held at 5 pm on Saturday evening. Apart from Assam, few other teams like Kerala, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Andhra Pradesh also arrived in Ranchi to take part in the game
