Rediff shows itself as caring little about INDIA
by Talisman on Feb 05, 2011 01:20 AM

Any news paper that wants to bring up one of the worst failures in india's world cup on the eve of another worldcup has no relevance to india.

Who cares what went on then? Chappel is a nobody in indian cricket,. The man did more damage than help. Why rake this up, so you can sell more news?

Chappel played for Australia
by Happy Friday on Feb 04, 2011 11:30 PM

Earlier umpires play for australia and on 2007 coaches play for Australia. Very cunning Aussies! Everyone should beat australia and knock them out in 2011 wc.

chappell has a criminal bent of mind
by biswanath roy on Feb 04, 2011 11:24 PM

greg chappell when he was captain of the australian cricket team, had shown glimpes of his criminal bent of mind.wayback in the 1980's, captaining australia in a 1 day match against new zealand, with NZ needing 4 runs from the last ball of the 50th over, greg chappell asked his younger brother trevor to bowl the last ball under hand thereby preventing brian mcckennie the NZ allrounder to hit the ball for a 4/6, 2 runs were scored & australia won by 1 run. this is the sort of man greg chappell is,why such a scoundrel was selected @ the first place as india's coach is surprising.during his tenure as coach, he had a fight with ganguly, sehwag, zaheer, yuvraj, harbhajan & finally sachin.

He was not a part of T20 World Cups 2 and 3. Why did India not win those World Cups? You may call it a personal milestone, but the fact that he scores itself proves why he is in the team. Get a life.

Get a life dude. Winning world cup is not like eating seekh kebob. Kapil Dev is no wonder the best cricket we had, but Tendulkar is and will be the best cricket player the whole world has seen.

A coach with no results
by ACHINTA ROY on Feb 04, 2011 05:50 PM  | Hide replies

Greg has always been a non-performer outside the field, because of his ego and immatured thought process. His brother Ian also confirmed this. Indian Cricket has fourished after two immatures thinkers(read Rahul and Greg) gave up thinking. Both these thinkers were great Batsmen, of all times.
