Sachin, there is no denying that you have done yeomen service to our conutry thru' ur exploits on the field and arguably you are the best batsman ever to have graced the game.
However, you would be aware that in recent times the high standards set by you, have not been met(especially if one considers Test cricket). In the recent Eng' series, ur presence did not make a difference nor Laxmans or even Dravids - we were beaten thoroughly!
Yet again, in Aus' we have been beaten - and now questions are being askd of the Big3 - and while one can argue that you 3 are not necessarily the only ones that need to score - the fact remains that the presenc/absence of you 3 is making no differenc to d results overseas - THATs both sad n unfortunate!!
None of u is getng youngr, but if we are to be beaten the way we are in Eng/Aus - we bettr hav some youngsters being blooded immly. in your positions so that they get the requisite experience, and if we lose so be it - we culd always state that we have a young team in the making!

My friend I am talking abt the middle ordr - and thats the core - the big3 - admit that even the concrnd batsmen r not scoring but we culd do with badri/tewari/rohit etc.
y does evryone considr Sachin a sacred cow in this country!

u r bent upon justifyng their presenc, but i am no big3 basher - my point is young blood in place of the 3.If we lose, too bad.
lets watch the 3nd test, if the prsenc of the big3 doesnt make a differnc even then - there wuld b a clamour fr their heads

Why are you always after sachin. He is the top scorer in both the innings of the first match. If uncle is not well what about your brothers like kohli, dhoni, gambhir etc. Ofcourse, our batting was a failure but we can't blame an individual for that.

Randeep singh ji ,who is god of cricket ,the future bharat ratna? Now please stop this double standards ,if he plays well he is the best ,if he fails what the other 10 players are doing.Dude its sachin who is getting Bharat Ratna and god title,so he should be expected to do more .

Mani my brother, Randeep never spoke about Godor Bharat Ratna. You are speaking about it :) There is nothing wrong in what Singhji is asking about the failure of others because it is a team effort whether victory or loss. Please don't assume that anyone who questions the team effort are Sachin fans only. There are neutral people (like me) who appreciate the success of others and criticize the failures of each one of the team.

Against nature,If india has a poor Record despite his double hundreds then it does not matter whether Sachin score 0s or double hundreds ,Right.Cricket is a team game different than kushti where single person wins Right.

Against sense, true to ur name not making sense again. You ARE a retard.
Tony Greig is taking on India big time in the channel 9 comm. box for bcci anti DRS stance. Tony criticised how come dravid no ball was referred on day2 by umpires but same review cannnot be applied on edges and caught behind. In fact early on day3 Bill Lawry corrected Greig by telling him :Hello Tony a no ball is a no ball"
Dhaka, Mirpur and SCG in that order. You now know he can perform only on flat tracks. If you take out these flat tracks his average will drop to 50 or lesser overseas and no. of 100's will be down to 40 similar to Mahela's average 20 others playing the game currently. Far from being the greatest ever, he will be lucky to make the top20 of his generation. This is a fact that even his blindest and diehard fans will learn to accept sooner than later after the 3-0 drubbing in Aus. (we will save SCG test)
Re: Re: Sachin 3 favorite grounds
by rsjr on Dec 31, 2011 04:20 PM
I wonder if we will bat first if we win the toss at SCG. I suspect Dhoni will put Aus in to bat considering how poor our batting is in the last 5 tests overseas. Far from being the best batting line up, it looks like the poorest in the world.

well then aus need to be all out for less than 150 on day1 but even when they made 127 vs pak @ scg aus won
Re: Re: Re: Sachin 3 favorite grounds

did espn show the toss @ mcg?their coverage is as bad as indian batting overseas
Re: Sachin 3 favorite grounds
by veerapuram dharan on Dec 31, 2011 04:22 PM
pls dont say anything abt him..if u had seen his performances on the tour of aus in 1991 and 1999, he had scored centuries in mcg, scg and perth...those days, perth was the fastest pitch in the world..better support him than accusing him for no reason..
Re: Re: Sachin 3 favorite grounds
by Abhijit Nair on Dec 31, 2011 04:24 PM
99 and 91 was different.currently @ mcg only sachin and dravid looked that they can bat long time and make runs

by veerapuram dharan on Dec 31, 2011 04:20 PM
when non cricketing ppl talk about cricket, its horrible for us to listen..thats y cricket is in this pathetic situation..
Sachin Tendulkar evaded 5 lakh rupees property tax to Mumbai Corporation. He evaded 1.13 crore rupees customs duty and imported Ferrari Car. He evaded crores of income tax and hoarded that money in Puttaparthi Baba's Trust. Without voluntarily retiring this self-serving uncle has denied opportunities to many young/talented BC/SC/ST/MC cricket players.

even ravi shastri has a double century at this ground.imagine what kind of ground it is..neverthless, sachin is sachin and i expect india to whallop aus by innings..
