it is better for indian criket that we have a series against bangladesh or zimbabae to see that sachin gets his hundered, then all will be ok with our team
The positive news about the Indian Test team is Umesh Yadav who has been very impressive. With Kohli being replaced by Rohit Sharma the middle order batting can be improved.
India, for the first time will have 3 very good strike bowlers. The batting typically does well most of the time, in the recent tours have not much help from Sehwag and Gambhir.
Once the openers settle down and fire intermitantly, there will be some production from Laxman and Rohit Sharma.
One has to remember that it was the introduction of Gambhir and Ishant that made India number one in Tests. With the infusion of Rohit Sharma and Yadav, India is much more solid and just needs to execute. It is just a matter of time that this Test team will now improve.

Barring SA where Gambhir performed ..?? NZ is all right team...It was whole team who made Indian team # 1...Kohli, Suresh talnts but impetuous player...Pujara needs to be grommed well...but he didnt perform great this local season..Abhishek Nayar, Rohit would be good choice for next generation middle order. Suresh , kohli, Gautam are good for ODIs..

bhagwat bhakwaas!!! since when ash and big b started playing cricket for india. Have u even played cricket for your mohalla and gully. this is the time to encourage and not brickbats
"INDIA NOW MUST GET READY TO CHUCK THIS DHONI FELAA OUT", FPR ALL THE FANTASTIC ACHIEVEMENTS U HAVE GIVEN US MR DHONI U SEEM TO BE OFF LATE VERY VERY CONSERVATIVE, THATS WHY AM A GR8 ADMIRER OF GANGULY WHEN HE CAPTAINS AWAY FROM SUBCONTINENT...HE WAS BRASH AND AGGRESSIVE GETTING UNDER THE SKIN OF THE OPPOSITION, DHONI IS TOO COOL FOR OUR COMFORT AND IS BECOMING A LIABIITY FOR THE TEAM AS A WICKETKEEPER BATSMAN AND CAPTAIN...HOW ELSE CAN ONE ESPLAIN THE DEFENSIVE FIELD SETTING FROM MR DHONEEE!!
And no one else better than him. Can someone replicate the fighting knock he played at the same ground in 1980, when India was chasing 275 runs to avoid innings defeat. Sunny scored 175 and gave India a lead of 142 to defend., Then Kapil the great took over and bundled Australia for 108 runs. What a memorable match that was.. fighting spirit to the core... How spineless and shameless the current bunch of Indians compared to that.. not worthy to follow the great legacy that they have left behind.

Indians have not applied their mind on foreign soil 2003 tour 2007 when we applied our mind on game we could manage to win AJIT AGARKAR & IRFAN PATHAN type all rounder performance is missing

Gavaskar has nothing to be frustated about. He is one batsman who has actually faced the likes of Marshall, Lillee without helmets and with distinction. Batted on sporting wickets with bounce and swing as an opener unlike Mr Tondulkar who gets his highest score against Bangladesh, bats with impeccable technique in Indian pitches and vanishes as soon as pressure is applied by quality bowlers. Gavsakar is right in stating that it's virtually impossible for India to win the series now, specially with the batting we have seen in last few overseas tests. Hope to be proved wrong.
