Gambhir's early exit is putting pressure on middle order. He should be dropped and Rohit Sharma should be included. Let Dravid and Sehwag open. Bowlers are ok.
@Reply to Jiju ==== even Aussies were 27/4 in their second innings
Michael HUssey had 3 lives - one catch dropped by dravid Lbw decision (could not use DRS system because INDIA opted not to why ?? very funny) ========= Indias second innigs - indians were 90 odd for 5 wickets so at the stage ,recuse should be staged by either KOHLI OR DHONI ,but never happened why ?
so does it not mean ,simply indian batsmen are simply following counter attack stratgey blindly all the way down to 10th wicket

so keep the actual scores aside ----- both teams matched one on one until 4th day afternoon
it was like - either India can win or may be aussies
but I agreed with Suarav that Indian should make it simply because 292 runs 1 and 3/4th days left
just need to make 2.25 runs per over
still india gave away the match the way it has so questions will be asked
this time about Team strategy and coachs role ?
for some time it has become fashionable to shell out lots of money to get foreign coaches ?
--- so I want to ask why Kumble is not in team think tank
why surav cannot be team consultant in some capacity as he has experienced australia before ?

You contradict ur earlier statements quite well..... U asked why India counter attacked? Now u say India could have won. Go to a doctor, take rest & medicines, get well soon Rama Anne.
Take a leaf out of Sauravs ====== Last time Suarav got up early morning and went for swim at Bondi beach
take plenty of water before the game starts
play beach volley ball and soccer as well ==== arrange strategic team meeting ,strictly seniors and only team india
work out the plan work out steps to take if plan does not work ====== KOHLI needs to play a long innings ,laced with defensive strokes and shots selectively ,then a big score is around the corner
DHONI needs to bat and step up a bit as well ---- LAXMAN is a senior and he should work out himself along with DRAVID
then things will be fine and I want @TEAM INDIA to be very careful in this aussie tour and be attentive until last test and last day in this series ,you have to be on watch out and very careful
Re: @TEAM INDIA plz be attentive and workout strategies as well
by rama anne on Dec 30, 2011 08:01 AM
Michael Slater says aussies have purchased a base ball bowling machine and modified to suit CRICKET --- I heard the machine can simulate many different types of bowling and one can use it indoors
CAN BCCI purchase that machine for @Team India
even on a rainy day ,you can practise indoors as well
TCS ,INFY OR WIPRO can write sofware and we can ask some ISRO to modify its robotics as well ---
Re: @TEAM INDIA plz be attentive and workout strategies as well

Ashiwn is doing a very good job -------- needs to check what the scg deck is upto these days ?
maybe team india get some recent statistics on scg deck as well
I suggest Sachin ,Laxman ,DHONI TO MAKE a meeting with SUARAV GANGULAY and work out the strategy for SYDNEY TEST
Anil Kumble and Surav Gangulay are both fighters and very honest indian cricketers
since anil kumble is not in australia but Saurav is and Iam sure ,he can give very good advise and be there for Team at syd
so better TEAM INDIA meet strategically - first ======= Next step let bowlers meet ,with their coach and work out the stratgey let Sachin ,dHONI AND SUARAv preside the meeting =========== @TEAM INDIA get together ,be there for each other Iam also with you guys
Zaheer ,Ishant ,Ashwin ,Umesh doing a good job ,just be fit and have a good massage and rest with plenty of fluids to go
Re: Re: Re: @Message to Team India

Dumbo, accept the truth. I am an Indian, I love my country (India) & Team India. Acknowledging the fact that we played badly does not mean all the craaaap that u wrote above. Grow up....
Re: Re: @Message to Team India
by rama anne on Dec 30, 2011 07:44 AM
DUNCAN FLETCHER should disclose whose decision was to go counter attack in 2nd innings ? was it DHONI plus Fletcher together ? whose decision ?
==== BCCI should sack or he should resign taking responsibility as well ? ====== BCCI has plenty of money in its coffers
we have to reform BCCI like we are attempting to do with CBI(lokpal billl) then things will become better as well
when ANIL KUMBLES team toured Australia --- Australias Andrew Symonds made 160 plus runs ,he was caught (a big nick everyone heard )even symonds acknowledged later at a press conference
imagine that same test India lost very close to Australia
we were very close to series win both 2003 and 2008 team india played very well in Australia even when aust toured India - India lifted the series === I believe even in melb test India played very very well till 4th day afternoon ,just the after noon they played bad cricket (counter attack )
DHNONI should be honest and tell us Indian fans whose idea is to play counter attack
six indian batsmen were caught why? Shehwag Gambhir Kohli Laxman Dravid - alone got bowled why ???? is it DHONIs idea to go counter attack ? is it Duncan fletchers idea?
No fool would do counter attack when u have 1 and 3/4th days of play left and only 292 runs to score
there is no cracked pitch with shane warne bowling on the rough?
so why did @TEAM india play like 20-20 match that afternoon (4th day )???
Re: @wrong strategy and bad moves
by Jiju on Dec 30, 2011 07:20 AM
When our batsmen couldnt play swing bowling properly and got out so cheaply, how can u expect them to defend 2 full days on a typical 4th innings MCB pitch? You should be crazy!
Re: Re: @wrong strategy and bad moves
by rama anne on Dec 30, 2011 07:42 AM
they played well in first innings - sachin made 74 runs dravid made 60 odd runs
those failed are middle order
DHONI and KOHLI did not score well in both innings so does LAXMAN as well --- LAXMAN is capable of playing ,but he selected wrong shot in 2nd innings
Re: Re: Re: @wrong strategy and bad moves
by Jiju on Dec 30, 2011 07:49 AM
Kid, getting bowled for 169 in the 2nd innings is not how the best batting line up should be. If u still fail to understand this and the reply to u on Dec 30, 2011 07:20 AM there is nothing else to say except "Get well soon".
Re: Re: Re: Re: @wrong strategy and bad moves
by rama anne on Dec 30, 2011 08:07 AM
169 runs in second innigs is laced with six batsmen caught and bowled except Dravid bowled --- so i feel Team strategy is wrong to go on counter attack who went for counter attack why KOHLI or DHNOI cannot anchor the innings if top order has not put enough runs on the board
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: @wrong strategy and bad moves
by Jiju on Dec 30, 2011 08:12 AM
Caught & bowled or run out or stump or LBW, wicket gone! How can u expect any team to play defense for 5-6 sessions with Aussies bowling well? Typical cycle stand batting by our bastmen :(
Re: @Wrong team strategy and counter attack
by Jiju on Dec 30, 2011 06:59 AM
Sachin & Laxman do not compose Team India, there are 11 people in total..... Come out of worshipping these so called heroes.
Re: Re: @Wrong team strategy and counter attack
by rama anne on Dec 30, 2011 07:07 AM
both Sachin and Laxman are in @Team India also @Sachin is special ,any cricket fan who watched Sachin make 74 runs will never forget the knock
I believe it is best both in flair and technical adage ===
disguised Ids or some people like you who are sabotaging Team India with sort of comments will not fool true Indian fans at all
Re: Re: Re: @Wrong team strategy and counter attack
by Jiju on Dec 30, 2011 07:16 AM
Read my comment properly kid. Team India comprises of 11 people, not just these 2. Dont stick onto single so called heroes. Win/loss is a team effort. If u credit wins to Sachin, u should blame him for defeats also!
I am not sabotaging Team India kid, learn to use proper English words :) I am a true Indian fan and have the right of speech to speak my opinion. Sabotaging is what u fantards are doing!! U r not bothered about how badly India lost, u r happy that Sachin/Laxman are having flair, technique.... WHat is the use of all that when it does not help u in victory?
Did they play to their best in the test? Be frank and tell the truth!!
Re: Re: @Wrong team strategy and counter attack

@Sachins scores of 74 and 30 plus is the combined highest score and most well made --- iam sure every cricket fan irrespective of Nationality will appreciate Sachins batting if you cannot means something wrong with you
Re: Re: Re: @Wrong team strategy and counter attack
by Jiju on Dec 30, 2011 07:18 AM
India lost badly and Sachin failed to score a century when it mattered the most, if you dont understand, it means something is wrong with you.
Re: Re: Re: Re: @Wrong team strategy and counter attack
by rama anne on Dec 30, 2011 07:22 AM
India did not lose badly India lost only 4th day afternoon when all batsmen played shots instead of selecting bad balls and wait patiently
they were impatient ----- Sachin scored 99 Centuries already
he is human and he also will miss his mark
still inspite of it Sachin made 74 plus 34 a combined total highest run scorer as well --------
Re: Re: @Wrong team strategy and counter attack
by rama anne on Dec 30, 2011 07:20 AM
Sachin looks like a Teenager even now ,many Aussies in syd told me he does not look like 38 years old he is like some 20 years plus
these comments were made by even Tonga ,somaoa islanders too who do not follow cricket
Re: Re: Re: @Wrong team strategy and counter attack

Let him look like a 16 year boy. I dont care! I am speaking about India's loss here, you are speaking about how "young" Sachin looks.... Typical Sachin fantard.......
