Ashwin must bat ahead of Dhoni in tests.
by Another Critic on Dec 28, 2011 01:16 PM

Apparently, Ashwin has better technique than Dhoni in the context of test matches.

Dhoni a failure in Tests
by balraj r on Dec 28, 2011 01:12 PM

he is a laibility in Test matches. The tail statrts with him.. most of the occasssions throws his wicket away. surely he is not suited to est cricket just like yuvraj. he should be replaced with parthiv who is a much better test batsman ( though a failure in onedayers).Similarly Gambhir should also be shown the door.

dhoni is riding on the success of the seniors in foreign pitches..hes like mike brearley. is time some consistent wicket keeper batsman drafted into teh side in place of him..he can be the ODI and T20 captain..

Include Dinesh Karthik in his place in test team. His technique is better than Dhoni as he has proved in England, SA.

HE IS NOT GOOD
by madanmohan siddhanthi on Dec 28, 2011 12:57 PM

He can bat only in dead pitches .do not go by averages they are often misleading also take the fact he bats at 7 or 8 the chances are he has better chance of remaining unbeaten .See Beaven fantastic average .

It's advantage Australia
by Ashish Sharma on Dec 28, 2011 12:54 PM  | Hide replies

With two wickets still remaining, it's in favor of Australia. All Indian batsman need to score in second innings to reach victory.

worst attitude by dhoni
by ANIL SINGH on Dec 28, 2011 12:48 PM  | Hide replies

who says he is attacking. started with 2 lips and then again at 50-4 became defensive and allowed pointing and hussey to take easy singles. with 2 more days don't expect to draw. seen that in englan we had england 7 down with 100 odds in second inning and managable score to win but allowed tail to take score to 250. he is chicken goes defensive run saving mode rather than going for win.

You should go and captain India. Give some credit to Ponting and Hussey who are no bums in batting. Dhoni's captaincy is not an issue; the issue is his pathetic batting in tests.

i suppose that is why his captaincy record is inferior than dhoni's captaincy record...

Flat Pitch Hero
by sunil verma on Dec 28, 2011 12:47 PM

What do you expect from him? He is good for flat pitches...not for bouncy or fast track. it dosent suit him. so next time take someone who can bat on fast and bouncy track...virat also fall in same league

Does anyone know what's Sehwag's average in Tests outside the sub-continent? It's 34. Don't believe me, go to Cricinfo StatsGuru and check out for yourself.
