Wasted runs
by IT Coolie on Aug 24, 2011 04:29 PM  | Hide replies

Only for personal records. He is occupying valuable space in test cricket should have retired 10 years ago. He is pain to watch. Bore bore bore.

The whole world knows who is familiar for his personal records.

You can't hide the truth.

You are typical Tendulkar fan.

One more waste.

Dedicated to personal glory. Only played for personal milesotones. Occupying space for personal reasons. Should have been kicked out 10 years ago.

Ahead of any tour, you'll hear foreign players made to praise SRT
by Oomshik Tooshik on Aug 24, 2011 04:25 PM  | Hide replies

Graeme Smith is lying if he said he wanted to be like SRT growing up. Actually 'players (like Tendulkar)' in Smith's comment is inserted by Rediff, cos he never said that.

No one cares abt SRT outside India. Fantards and Indian media fish for compliments abt SRT and everyday we have dumb 'stories' abt Lara, Viv Richards. G Smith supposedly praising SRT.

Come on, people. He's a indiv records specialist in a game played by 5 countries, that few outside India care about. Even there he's not considered a great by other countries.

All his centuries for his personal records. He only plays for records. India lost all the matches but he was busy in making centuries. Very selfish player.

what do u mean? should he also get out for duck...every player counts... he was selected for ODIs because the selectors decided that they will pick at least one player who will be dependable on the tour...the decision even shocked Dravid who announced his retirement...

Well said. Dravid's record of surpassing Gavaskar's centuries was most important. Who cares about the series? :)

Scored 3 centuries, but couldn't SAVE
by Muhammed on Aug 24, 2011 04:02 PM  | Hide replies

a Single Test - that speaks for itself. Nothing to take away from his centuries, but the fact is his runs were Waste. Had he failed, the only difference would have been the margin of victories would have been slightly higher (sans his centuries). In retrospect if he thinks of this, he should retire.

true because other players in the team are selfish, talentless people like scahin...who failed to score even a 50! and you are blaming dravid for scoring 3 hundreds?

cricket is a team game...if rahul scores 3 hundreds but no body supported him so how can he draw the match alone...

it is a great pity every one in thif forum find fault with Rahul Dravid. Cricket is a team game. All the eleven players should contribute substantially , then only one can win the game. criticising dravid make no good. He withstood the pressure and also opened the innings in two tests and in last test he came out to bat after spending many hours and for that one has to give credit to him and not criticise him. Moreover, no one supported him in other end, if they supported, it will be a different story and hence please stop blaming dravid alone. The last but not the least what were the contribution of other greats , like sachin , Schewag and Dhoni etc. They also failed totally in the series. hence one should not blame any one . it is a part and parcel of game. we should respect the feeling of the players and lending moral support, we criticise them and that is not a good spirit.

Ridiculous. Do not talk through your hat. To understand the value of Dravid's innings you must atleast have little knowledge of cricket. Get a dip in the holy Ganga - may be you will be blessed to understand better.

He dropped many catches and is lazy on the field. He should retire now to give chance to other players. He has already earned a good name fame and money.
