few reasons for debacle
by raman govindan on Aug 15, 2011 09:25 AM

the Indian players reserved their best for IPL, where they get the highest return and exposure. also they thought that the best paid IPL crickteers in India, are the top international international crickteers. that was also a fallacy.

The difference is Tendulkars form, which inspires Indian team....
by RS on Aug 15, 2011 09:21 AM  | Hide replies

This is what happens when Tendulkar fails to score....

Those who claim that whenever Tendulkar scores a century, India looses... Please check what happened now... Tendulkar hasn't scored a century in this series... The result... complete white wash....

correction- tendulkar would have done better if India had program to be number 1, he would have improved his fitness and game instead of wasting away his time in angrezLand to shop, what matches, etc. while angrez were grunting to give a kick.

Mr. Srikkanth....
by B M on Aug 15, 2011 09:12 AM

...is there a single thing about the Indian team that 'clicked' on the England tour? Don't just blame batting. Were our batsman responsible for letting England reach 717? We have fared poorly in batting, bowling as well as fielding!

HOW THEN IT CLICKED FOR ENGLAND ?
by SRIDHAR RAGHUNATHARAO on Aug 15, 2011 09:06 AM  | Hide replies

srikkanth's reasoning is stupid. When Tom, Dick and Harry of England Team scored merrily, how then our great batsmen failed miserably ? The great Master Blaster struggled through the series even to score 50. Try to get knighthood for him like Sobers, Worrel or Richards. He will then understand this great's real worth.

No. 1 teams don't depend on 1 batsman or 1 bowler. Even if the great Master Batsman failed or Zaheer was absent, what were the rest of the batsmen and bowlers doing?

But then Sachin should not be hyped as if he is God; If he has to be treated like God, he should play when ever the team requires. Or else he is just another batsman, a very good batsman.

I wish to know from all those who criticise my above opinion to please answer one question.
Whether for his calibre. did he at least gave his contribution to the team such that our margin of defeat is honourably reduced?
I need not be told or reminded that Cricket is a Team of players. My comments may not be relished but it is the true fact.

Sridhar Raghunatharao:

I know you want him (and every great player) to score as many (or more) centuries than the number of matches they've played, but it doesn't work out that way.... :)

Even Bradman scored substantially less number of centuries than the 80 innings he played.... In case you knew... :)

Not only Batting at Once ! ! ! !
by chirag foryou on Aug 15, 2011 08:59 AM  | Hide replies

.
It is our poor history and present that we have trouble against fast SWING and BOUNCY bowling.

Why don't we have same kind of cricket pitches to do practice for BOUNCY & SWING BOWLING?

It is just lack of infrastructure?

I believe we were under prepare, with less fit players and our team is playing too much cricket with same bunch of players.

What is your say?

timepass this is how they are trapping us into DRS
by D S on Aug 15, 2011 08:05 AM

" Dravid should have taken the review: Dhoni"

timepass you are a sold out slave with shallow view.

..the kind of people angrez colonized in wholesale with their gun and trade power to hire slaves...
like how we were trapped into videshi weapons systems perpetual superiority.
This is how they WILL make weak batsmen out of indian who cannot play swing BY HAVIING BAT FULLY BEHIND THE BALL and rely of luck and chance of hit and miss TO RELY ON MERCY OF DRS (and ghoras who will prove DRS is fully automatic and good). DONT BE A LIMP and wimp.

How can you say, if dravid asked DRS and it would show it was a snick. dont be a fools,

HIGH SPEED CAMERA (from open market) REPLAYS ARE SUFFICIENT. dont be sold to DRS. they are doing same to lanka by showing tracking ball to show how LBWs against lanka bowler against ponting was wrong.

SO DONT BE FOOL TO FALL IN THE TRAPPPPPPPPPP.

END DRS, india should have it's OWN high speed and precision camera replays and there should be 4th umpire or technicial to see and give feedback to umpire on the field. if opposing teams want, they can have their own
seperate high speed camera REPLAY CAPTURE SYSTEM, dont be sold to angrez and ghoraaa cheat games.

SAME APPLIES TO CRICKET balls, they should be sealed and locked in same box, some box that angrez cannot open.
then balls should be given randomly from that box by shaking. Also, the balls should be made from company that
ghoras have no control over. THE PITCH NEEDS TO BE SEALED AS WE
