Indian cricketer's are like gay esholes
by timepass on Aug 14, 2011 08:04 PM

Dravid is too shy to ask for DRS when he was genuinley not out, Dhoni hugs Raina time to time and brings back Bell when he was given out. Ishant is to nice to bowl bouncers or straight at stumps in case he hurts batsmen..Dhoni is more concerned abt conceeding runs that getting wickets when spinners are bowling..Dravid happilu missed catches in slips and thinks the country owes him for standing there yr after yr...these guys are not competitive sportsmen but just gay ppl who are eager to enjoy their ill gotten undeserved riches..well karma will bite them back.

India's Loss in England
by ashok chhibbar on Aug 14, 2011 07:57 PM

The players are human no doubt....we the people had turned them into Gods. While it is rare for all 11 players to fail simultaneously, it is not unknown. The same England team was skittled out for 51 in a Test match. I feel sorry for Dhoni and his team. I am sure the team will lift itself up soon.

Its really sad to see that Vinod Kambli speaking about The current indian team in one of the television channels. He was the weakest non- performing player and the indisciplined player to play cricket.Nothing is as shame as kambli commenting on the poor form of Indian players when he himself didnt perform.Agreed that the currrent indian team is struggling for form and no excuses for the series loss, one innings from one batsman will bring the whole team to retain the lost form. i want to sa to this indian team that Indian fans will continue to cheer you even after the loss, a graceful defeat like the cheppak test match against pakistan in 1999 / the famous sidney test we would like to witness boys and not a humiliating defeating . Remember after the loss in cheppak test match india went onto win the Delhi test when Kumble " The Jumbo" took all 10 wickets in an innings and share the world record with Jim laker till now. Needless to mention wat happened after the unfair sidney test match. Australians and its media reported that the next test match at perth would end within 3 days & their team will win. The Oz media were partly right in predicting that the perth test would get over in 3 days and the whole world knows that India won the perth test match.

With Ageing veterans like Tendulkar,VVS,Dravid and with half fit bowlers and batsman like shewag and with injuries to bajji, zaheer, young players not ready to take over the responsibilites from the veterans what perforance do you expect from this team? The team is weary and tired to take up any challenge after the world cup win and IPL.BCCI should be sqarely responsible for the present days problems of the team. The unrealistic tiring schedule for players taken a serious toll on the perforance of the tea

Guys - lets act matured
by edwin fernandez on Aug 14, 2011 07:37 PM  | Hide replies

When are we going to act like mature cricket fans. With every instance of success comes hero-worship and failure beckons scathing criticism. Its time our cricket fans/retired cricketer acted with more maturity. We all this was coming - The rating(s) for IPL/Champions league were soaring and test match attendance was dwindling.

Let's spare a thought for the captain. He had a proud record in terms of win/loss ratio in test matches, until now. His dismal show with the bat continued untill this match - all too late. His world would've come crashing now. Cricket is a cruel game. Until now Dhoni should've been enjoying his stint as a captain, now he would be searching for answers - the shoe has begun to bite. His otherwise spot-on stategies and game plans have not worked, not to mention depleting resources at hand.

Our former cricketers have not enjoyed half as much success as the current bunch has. May be they are a bit jealous in being hyper-crtical. Nonetheless, this is a humiliating defeat and our cricketers would know it better. But the need of the hour is to stand by the team that has given us so much to cherish and pave way for tip/tactics to excel in English conditions, with the limited resources at hand.

you immature eshole, Dhoni is rubbish as captain and keeper, dont try to campflouge real issues in Indian cricket under the false glory of a fluke WC win. dhoni's luck is running out, his IQ level has been badly exposed.

Thanks to sachin that he inspired from likes of Kapil Dev and developed the zeal to play for the country and more importantly the desire to win. Sachin played 3 world cups with these selfish players. It was Sourav Ganguly( DADA )who inspired the team to put up a fight and win.they too lost many matches but lost gracefully after putting up a fight. It was under Dravids captaincy that India created a world record for 17 consecutive wins while chasing. till then we were called as worst chasers. Sachin jelled well with DADA, The Wall,Laxman,Kumble and made india proud. so former players don't blame the current indian team nor even point out an single player.

I agree with you that losing is natural. At some point, you will lose. But it's the manner in which they have lost that is a concern.

Critisism by Old Players
by swapnil Jirage on Aug 14, 2011 07:23 PM  | Hide replies

There is up and down in every cricketers life. one time Aussies was no. 1 but not now. Ofcourse it dosen't mean that Team India is responsible for failure. First of all IPL should be stopped immediately. Sachin do not played in West Indies series for reason to take resst but played in IPL. Zaheer feeled injurious but still attended IPL. Sehwag was not fit during IPL days but not even decide to rest and prepare for next season. this lust of money will dafinately take team india to Rank no. 10

Greed for money aka IPL can definitely take India to No 10 in all formats of game except 20-20 , even there we will struggle. Some one needs to direct the Ana Hazare protest to outside BCCI office. They are responsible for this debacle and imo - IPL is the primary reason for this. Why cant we cut short IPL to 28 days and we could have utilized the rest of the days to do a condition camp and simulated conditions similar to England and prepared for the tour.. Instead human greed and lust for money e.g. IPL took over all rationale .. the humilation is there for in front of all to see...now BCCI will do post mortem.. They are the biggest joker on this planet...Unless we change the format and cut short IPL schedule we will see more such disasters in future and India will be proudly placed at no 10 in rankings and compete with Zimbawe and Bangladesh for No 9 spot..
