saina lost 15-21,10-21 in 30 mts & i.e why all indian newspapers & channels have fallen silent. saina had boasted prior to leaving for london that she has beaten all the higher ranked players earlier,& is very hopeful in winning the world championship this year. after winning her 2 first matches against two inconsequent players from ireland & cambodia, she reiterated that this year the world cup is hers. yesterday she was hounded out by her rival. the advice to saina is to concentrate more on training & practice instead of going for ramp ahows & propagating for luxury products.

In today's Times of India survey, our youngsters answering 'Who is closest to being your role model?" Sachin Tendulkar comes first with-31% followed by Anna at 16%.Rahul Gandh gets 9% support. Our respected APJ Abdul Kalam is supported by 2% and comes last. How stupid can our youngsters get?

angrez domination game in batting and bowling,

Angrez have been very successful in their frustration tactics against indian batting
and bowling as well their domination tactics.

Now when india made headway with spin, ANGREZ got swann and Peitersen to compete and dominate
in that area right away with an very aggressive fielding setup.
Angrez already have leeched out what Panesar can offer into Swann and that is the reason spinner of level Harbhajan were no success and only helped to increase confidence of Angrez.
THIS MEANS INDIA SHOULD have had 2 spinners of Pragyan and Rahul order in the attack.
Batting wise, Sehwag should have been sent down the order until this horse is ready to run as it used to. Dravid going up the order until sehwag is ready. that was wrong planning and it did not happen.
Needs to have players like Rohit and kohli on the nets and padded up to play in the 11, allowing tendulkar into 3rd test to complete records was not wise. tendulkar also made mistake in letting BCCI agree on partial DRS under media pressure. Players like Dravid would have not dropped so many catches if there was proper Program to make India a number 1 that included fitness.
and R P singh needs to be there on the nets as well and was supposed to be there for 3rd test.

Champions League 20-20
by Chellapan on Aug 13, 2011 04:33 AM  | Hide replies

Being a great fan of SRT, I am extremely pained to see him promoting IPL CL 20-20.
Surely the promos might have been taped earlier, but this puts India's test performance in perspective.

Many defend T20 saying that it is only 20 overs and the bowler bowls on 4 overs.
But the intensity of a T20 games is many times the one of a 50 over game and of course a test match in terms of physical exertion within a stipulated time period.

The 24 deliveries that the bowler bowls requires immense concentration and effort as the batsman is ready to slam every ball for six if he could help it.

Ditto from the batsman's viewpoint. He has to swing from the word go.

Coupled with travelling and enormous amount of matches, particularly in IPL4, the damage is done on the player.

I remember Zaheer injuring his shoulder diving at mid-off in IPL2.

The senior players are not getting any younger and they should now concentrate on their performances rather than slam-bang stuff.

Keyword is "within a stipulated time period".

Have you tried being on the field and attentive for every delivery for 2 days? Think about being batting for a day, think of being padded up and ready to come to bat during a long parnership......

Being on the field for 20 overs is comparitively like 1.5 hours.

So what if he has to swing from the go? How about having to cocentrate for hours... or else you are a failure. Think about having to concentrate on a breaking track in the fourth innings after 4 days of cricket.

The stamina and effort needed for test cricket is far more than hit and giggle 20/20.

Better to have intelligent enemy than a foolish friend -
CNN-IBN survey shows that if elections were to be held today, UPA will again come to power and loot the nation with scams like 2G and CWG. This clearly shows that people still remember the moral of panchtantra story that they had read in their child hood. UPA will come to power again. Wondering why? Visit goo .gl/8a2WM ( remove space between goo and .). You can also google bribe tracker to see this analysis.
