Give the devil his due

There is no doubt that the antics of the BCCI have severely impacted on the performance of the Indian team in England. But one must also recognise the splendid performances of the English team as well. And this started with their prformances in the Ashes series down under. This must be the best performing English team since the 1950s and 1960s.

is a nice commentator but all these people at some point show their hate towards coloured people by making racist comments. He was banned from commentating in Asia becoz of that.

WI tour
by Lallu LaptopWale on Aug 13, 2011 12:50 PM

i believe dhoni has written the script of this series in west indies tour itself, when he opted to draw the match not not tried to score 95 ball 80 something run, that too againt 'C'catagory team of west indies. that decision was the laughing material in west indies media.

here every one is to blame, including sachin too.now its been proved once again that he is more interested to drag his carrier because of the money he is receiving from add and others, and i am sure he will be in indian team till his son become 16 year old and selected for team india. this is basic reason he is not retiring. Please bcci should look into this matter, along with that all the senior players are getting too much money in T20 and no longer interested in playing for Test, now the CT trophy coming, just see thier zeal and enthisiasm on feid while they play for thier club. Solution : we all should stop wathching T20 , that is only thiong we as a fans can do since BCCI decsion is not in our hand.

Because Sri Lanka lost to England 1-0 in the 4 test series recently. Better than India.

From Self Cofidence To Self Deafeat

We should not be depressed by the sad Indian Plight. It happened to the strong team West In dies, when they tasted defeat at the Indian ha nds in 1983 world cup final. It happened to Au ssies also recently. But the problem is with Indian attitude of mind;that is when you hit the dumps, you are trampled upon under feet
and when are successful, you are raised sky high
to the pinnacle of glory.

Sameer
who is real culprit
by Sameer on Aug 13, 2011 11:30 AM

i think we should not blame these players. main culprit are selectors and bcci. ishant sharma - was dropped because of out of form and he did not played any 3 days /4 days /ranji match. just played IPL and in that also only in one match he took 5 wikets otherswise he was OK. but they gave him entry in WI tour. and their against third grade team (without gayle) he took wickets and make his place in Eng tour. Sreesanth - because of performace did not get chance to play in wc. injured and back in the team without playing any longer version. munaf is with team and he is fit. he played most of the matches they why they are not taking him in final 11? in last tour RP did good job so they should have select him at the begining of the tour. last year unadkat played very well in eng agianst eng a. means he exp. they gave him chance in one match and dropped. in this tour they should have select him instead of junck sree/ishant. batting i do not want to say any thing.. because in indian pitch we have almost 22 batsman ready but outside asia, we do not have pure 6 batsman and that is because of bcci.

Blofeld is right
by kskumar on Aug 13, 2011 10:52 AM

The Indians are physically and mentally down. The BCCI is interested only in making money. All their interest is only in IPL. If tomorrow somebody comes up with the idea of playing cricket in Siberia in winter with some catchy title like "Snow, Siberia and Cricket", the BCCI will immediately agree provided the money is good. The players will be sent packing to Siberia immediately after the England tour is over.

Is it any wonder that the BCCI is so rich?
