Fit Red beef charging in, wanting to hit mukund off stump
by D S on Aug 02, 2011 11:35 AM

1.
CAN SEE SCARY LOOKS ON MUKUND FACE and fear in eyes. Ball went few millimeters past mukund stump with late swing.
Since they could not hit the stumps, got him to commit an jumping ball that nervous Mukund should leave.
Same for Dravid. off stump of left hander = leg stump of right hander.
2.
Two non-violent gandhian oldies (laxman and dravid) wanted to live in peace.
Oldies thought they could leave most of balls to live in peace the GANDHI WAY.
So the red beef went to hit their stump directly or make ball go above the stumps.
first type got laxman with swing-angle hitting the off and second type that rose above stumps got dravid, knowing full
well that dravid is not a front foot man either.

Never to forget history when we see this massacre of jalia wala bagh. the nehru, jinnah and gandhi were beaten down and made brokers of angrez. Then projected as true desis by angrez media, so they rule while kickback regime is setup through many brokers that videshis built over time.

3.
Lesser said about Yuvraj, etc about batting and Indian bowling, the better.

4.
ANGREZ AND VIDESHIS SPY-cheat ON THE INTERNET and almost all aspects of communications-transport.
thus, india should start their own version of cricket like Americans did with baseball.

5.
Videshi have made comeback after WW-II with agressive spying and tactics in business, etc. Be it EU or NATO
or opening of Indian economy or the hidden professional network using desi brokers and recruiters.

Youvraj
by Len Hutton on Aug 02, 2011 11:33 AM  | Hide replies

dejected us not because he got out, but the way he got out. Broad and Bresanan both were bowling short pitch stuff to him, but he was just trying to push those deliveries. and went through difficult moment. but not a single time he tried to bend down or move away the head to leave the ball. It's very shameful that except 3 masters nobody in indian team who can play short pitched bowling with confidence.

In my opinion, Gambhir is technically unsound to handle pace and bounce. His footwork is pathetic to say the least!!! Most of his success has come in again India. Indians have hardly travelled abroad and thats the reason their true colours are not coming out.

India has never won a series in those 2 countries.

4 years back the same indian team (except Kumble) performed much better.

Reason ... present English bowling unit is much better compared to the last series.

No we havent. Aus at its peak had to wait for an injury hit series and a pitch that supported pace to win a series in India. Regardless that is what makes that aussie team an all time great which is confused with present World No 1. Someone needs lessons in spotting apples and oranges. hehe. And we definitely need to learn how to prepare our pitches to our strengths. We have been gifting visiting teams wickets suiting their strengths recently.

Exactly. BCCI and the current players are asking the blades of grass to be shaved off in indian picthes to make it as DEAD as possible instead of improving their technical standards like the way Sachin, Sehwag, Dravid or Laxman did!!!!

I have to disagree on one point though. What BCCI needs to do is to play more abroad and schedule it in such a way that our players get more exposure. Instead they play more series at home and SL. But at home, I dont think we should throw away our home advantage. Wickets prepared in india for visiting teams should support spin very well.

I dont agree on squandering our home advantage. But we should be playing more abroad and also allowing our players not in the team to play county cricket. The way BCCI has been handling it just plain sucks. Only with exposure can these things happen.

MSD in trouble
by Len Hutton on Aug 02, 2011 11:25 AM  | Hide replies

First time MSD is going through this tough situation, I think team composition is ok except Zaheer and Verendra. But to be frank I don’t think Veerendra’s existence would have made big difference because Veerendra is kind of player if gets the momentum it’s difficult to stop him but that does not happen everytime. Second I think we need good allrounders in the tail. See all English tailenders are playing well. And ours they just come and go. Irfan,Ajit could be useful. Naser Husain told during commentary that we don’t include player good in only 1 area. Like batting or bowling. He should be good in both and fielding as well. I think time has come we also follow this.

Give chance to this players also
Highest run getters in Ranji
Rahane
Jaffar (played well in last England tour)

It was always a well known fact that Indians (barring exceptions like Sachin, Sehwag, Dravid and Laxman) are "Tigers at home and pussycats abroad"!!! Nothing new in that. Before, we used to atleast play good against spin and now the batsmen can NEVER play even on a slightly lively track (be it spin or pace)!!!

lol. The seniors where chokers themselves during their first few stints in these lands. This is why i keep on saying, you need to learn. There is no switch, one needs exposure. Same thing applies to your masters. They need exposure to spin to learn to play it. But No 1 team who cannot play spin is real funny. But dream on.

Once our injury worries are over, we will regain confidence. Right now at the start of a key series, you lose your main strike bowler and 2 openers. And then blunders follow. Happens. Everyone has their lows and these are opportunities to learn some lessons rather than feel like some of these servile ones feel.

First and foremost, Yuvi, Dhoni and Bhajji should be thrown out of the team permanently. They neither have the talent nor the hardwork to push forward the Indian team. They are like the soda-bottle-spirit which fizzes a lot as immediately as it dies down!!!

Bring in better technically sound cricketers like DineshKarthik (better keeper-batsman than Dhoni too) and RahulSharma apart from encouraging bowlers like Mithun, RP Singh and Mishra.
