if it was sachin who got out on 72 in this situation, headline will read
sachin fails again to steer india in fourth innings as they are on verge of defeat and humiliating series whitewash from aussies.

Unbelievable racist commentator in cricinfo has written,

sachin completed double century in the morning. However, he showed that even two decades at the highest level cannot totally erase nervy moments; on 199 he nudged to cover and took off for a suicidal single, only to be rightly sent back by Dhoni.

It is pathetic as i saw the match nothing unusual happened, more drama was happening when ponting was playing almost every ball

Sachin hats off for 200 runs & shame on Dravid for not performing when sachin gets 200 on Dravid home ground. I remember on 24 April is Sachin born that day Dravid hit 200 runs abroad just as birthday gift to sachin so news paper published DRAVID's party @Sachin BD" so today some news papers may say Sachin's party at Dravid Home" Sachin & Dravid debet is as old as Vishwamitra & Vashishtha both were gr8 it is very difficult to rank then 1 or 2 but Sachin is more lucky that his wife has supported him like mountain Himalaya to India. So Rahul Dravid will definitely take help from his doctor wife to get his lost confidence today it self because wife is better half & no other person knows you than your ring master. Any way i beg Dravid as well as Sachin both for peeping my dirty nose in their sussessful married life but theme of my message is that if you are not open to your wife you are not 100 percent at work. Rahul Dravid will sail indian boat to safety tomorrow in Vijeta his wife presence in VVIP gallary of Stadium. Even ring master Anjaliji can take first flight to Bangalore to watch her husband and husbands best friend to mirracle on day5 post luch session with the blessing of course Ganapathi, Chamunda mother, Durga, Shakti. Even Saurabh Ganguly who did not win world cup final 2003 due to poor show of Sachin & Rahul in Johnsberg can take first flight to Bangalore to reduce Kolakatta Crow

These two batting gods can not be compared. They have their own strengths and weakneses.Sachin has reinvented himself, now it is Dravid's turn.As long as their personal life is concerned,we dont know how their better halves support them.Probably Mrs.Dravid do not like to make public display of her support.so we should keep away from them.It is better for fans not to poke into fragile matters of their stars.

After five pens each: England 4-5 India
India go through to the final, where they will face Australia. England will play New Zealand for bronze. Your reaction, please. Was that the best game of hockey you've ever seen? If not, why not?

Great Game. The best game- maybe not. There was a Champions trophy game between India and Germany some 20 years back. India were 5-1 down with 9 minutes to go. They drawed it 5-5 with Pargat Singh (Right Back)scoring a goal by taking the ball at India's 16 and singlehandedly driblling the whole opposition and scored. Never seen anything like that. Never will.

Martin Gough At the hockey, on Twitter: Phew! Three-each after extra time. Now it's penalties - five each, then sudden death. Just five penalty-takers per side, unlike football.

England's Glenn Kirkham - a nicer man you could never hope to meet - sees his penalty, to the left of the goal, saved.

he hit 2 sixers when he was on 93 yesterday.... what do u say about that....
the other reason could be that there were no batsmen after Sachin and Dhoni. Hindsight, should make u understand importance of his innings... else its nothing but personal hatred out of strange reasons known to u only.

don't be a blind reader. I am not denying what happened but surprisingly no mention of 2 clear lbw of ponting which were not given. he survived only due to umpire support and somehow manages 72 but failed to take responsibility to make a big inning as sachin does for india

wait , i don't like ponting , but please he did his job
He scored 3 70's in 4 innings. Thats not failure.

you are on the same track as the others. If its not a 300 score in the 4th inning , its not considered big.

You guys have been spoilt by tendy. His performance has raised your expectations to levels of idiocy , i cannot even phantom

it was not two clear, only one was close. Remember he was given out in first innings wrongly. Also Hussey was given out wrongly. Murali vijay was out plumb in front when he was 49. So don't specify umpiring errors as a topic.
