LMFAO, well i have done projects for GPI, hence wont say anything bad for lalit, i was rather referring to narendra ji, and i bet this was a bad joke from your side.
the world has become so fast there is no time to play a game for 5 days anymore, this form of cricket will decline in couple of years,,apart from india ,and some other countries no one is intrested in a 5 day game
Re: yess he is breaking the records who cares??

There is no better game than Test Cricket if the conditions are favorable to bowlers. Unfortunately, we don't have that concept in subcontinent.

by Chuttad Prasad on Oct 11, 2010 09:44 PM
duffer, till cricket has fans line me, and i bet there are millions of them, test cricket will remain a dominant force in international circuits
Re: Re: yess he is breaking the records who cares??

i ve been following cricket for so long mr, within the next 5 years very few test cricket will be played
Re: Re: Re: yess he is breaking the records who cares??

the fact is that we indians should also concentrate playing hockey and football, where there is more competetion around the globe
Re: most consecutive fifties...
by Chuttad Prasad on Oct 11, 2010 09:46 PM
now at this micro level, i bet next you will say xyz is only batsmen with maximum sixes against abcd bowler which is more than sachin, sachin cannot have each and every record of a game that is played by millions.
Re: Re: most consecutive fifties...
by abhilash on Oct 11, 2010 09:52 PM
donno since when 50's have become micro... 50 and 100 have always been an integral part of a cricketers profile... dude please think before u blurt out nonsense...
Re: Re: Re: most consecutive fifties...
by Chuttad Prasad on Oct 11, 2010 09:57 PM
50's are insignificant for a man whose average is 57, secondly consistency is not like a chain interlinked but with limitations, its like a machine that keeps on delivering again and again and again, something like for 20 odd years
Re: Re: Re: Re: most consecutive fifties...
by Prasad on Oct 11, 2010 10:13 PM
consecutive 50's or 100's reflect current form. Sachin will break this record as you will see that in next 2 matches. he deserves.
Re: This
by Chuttad Prasad on Oct 11, 2010 09:48 PM
had this god not made this puckin century, muzzies like you would have killed an innocent animal to celebrate follow on of India, just imagine how many innocent lives sachin saved
highest runs in a calender year is by yousuf youhanna... 1788 runs in 2006.. sachin has currently scored 1194, hope he adds another 50-75 to it tomorrow , 5 more tests this year 3 against newzealand at home 2 against SA at SA... hope and pray that sachin continues this purple patch and scores 600 odd runs in the remaining 5 tests and dislodges yet another paki record....
Re: Will sachin surpass Yousuf Youhanna.....
by praveen on Oct 11, 2010 09:11 PM
yaa obviously he is going to break all records in the cricket except in bowling and in batting he want to break lara record hope to do it also
Re: Re: Will sachin surpass Yousuf Youhanna.....
by abhilash on Oct 11, 2010 09:16 PM
king Lara record would not be a great feat... lara played selfishly as he was captain and WI drew the game thanks to his 400... i rate his triple against Aus better than the 400
Re: Re: Re: Will sachin surpass Yousuf Youhanna.....
by cricket on Oct 11, 2010 11:46 PM
Vijay play aggressivly in t20 and play defensivly in test. In test his opening average is above 50.00. So he is best player than this pujara, rahane, robin uttapah, pande, dawan, rahane etc
It wasn't the Sachin of the old. Too defensive, patting even the overpitched balls, which in normal course he would have despatched with dispain to far corners of the ground. Had Sehwag was there instead of Sachin, India would have been in driver'seat, smelling for victory. Now the only possible result is DRAW and Sachin going on and on for many more records!

Bowrie RK:
From 38-2 to 345-3 and then 411-5 tells you that THIS was the pitch where everyone should have blasted 20 ball 25's and gone into a follow-on; then repeated the process to ensure an innings defeat.... right? :)
Boss.. Sachin played sensibly knowing the type of "Test" cricket level batting that was to follow.... which did follow... ;-)
Re: Why Sachin was too slow throughout the day!
by samir mitra on Oct 12, 2010 12:47 AM
Bowrie you are a chutiano.1... two or three more reckless sehwags in the team,nd india would loose in all the matches...when did tht reckless last play a gud nd responsible innings
Re: Why Sachin was too slow throughout the day!
by Sanjay on Oct 11, 2010 08:48 PM
Sorry what match were you watching??? It was a TEST match... as such Sachin didn't do a bad job. Win is still possible. On final day it will be hard for Aussies to chase even 150 on this pitch.
Re: Why Sachin was too slow throughout the day!
by praveen on Oct 11, 2010 09:12 PM
yaa he is very slow today he can go after the bowling of aussies but he is still playing in defensive mode , hope he will score runs tomorow
Re: Why Sachin was too slow throughout the day!
by cricketfan on Oct 11, 2010 08:51 PM
My dear,at one point the situation was precarious and now Sachin has brought us to this level of ensuring we don't lose this test and winning the series. If Sehwag had clicked Sachin would have played more freely. Think before criticising.
Re: Why Sachin was too slow throughout the day!
by C M on Oct 11, 2010 08:56 PM
Sehwag has had his chance he did only 30 when opposition made 450 plus...Thats called reckless ...not smelling victory...Veru is good , SRT is good and responsible...simple as that..If u have problem with that suck it up becoz Nothing is going to change SRT is superclass...
Re: Re: Why Sachin was too slow throughout the day!
by bishadratna on Oct 11, 2010 09:21 PM
strike rate of 60 z slow in test???????? 310 runs scored in a day in 87 overs..was it slow... if sachin would hv batted as vijay batted india would hv scored 250 runs in d day..
Re: Re: Re: Why Sachin was too slow throughout the day!
by bishadratna on Oct 11, 2010 09:23 PM
there r some guys who r never satisfied. if sachin would hv scored 20 they says sachin should hv scored 50. if 50 they expext 100.. if 100 they expect 200. if 200 then they expect strike rate of 80.. hahahahaha
Re: Re: Re: Re: Why Sachin was too slow throughout the day!

This clearly shows how big Sachin is and see the expectations from all in Sachin.....
People are always expecting miracles from Sachin and he is also consistenly doing such miracles which nobody ever can even dream!!!!!
Tomorrow there will be a time when Tendulkar has to play aggressively and look for a lead for team India. But in these situations, what he generally does is taking a single and remaining not out and giving the strike to tail enders so that they get out and he remains not out. This happened on many occasions (In 2004, 241* in Sydney and in Banglades 246*). He only wants not outs.. But will not push for teams victory and score quickly
Re: Tendulkar will remain unbeaten to look after his average
by C M on Oct 11, 2010 09:00 PM
You r such a nutcase...Geta maturity pill..He took India outta trouble situation after 2 quick wkts..Now its others to play aggresive and look for a lead...its a team game remember... And if u ahve prob if he remains noit outs why dont u offer ur valuable bowling suggestions (if any) to Aussi bowlers they will appreciate it...LoL

Yet you choose to hail him as a match winner, and shoot off the corner of your mouth against Sachin who has toiled throughout this match to build the innings brick by brick...

Vignesh!!!! Has he alone signed a contract of making all the runs....other's like u nd the other 10 in the team will just masterbur..te. lol, nd he does not need anybody to defend him...He was/is/will remain the KING.

We started hating Tendulkar because of people like u who r talking only about himself...... He is a great batsman but over hyped as God in India by people. He is selfish Tendulkar.... Never cares for the team... When he is compared to other greats like Gavaskar, Don, Viv Richards he is zero in terms of the number of wins... Considering individual performance in modern day, Tiger Woods, Federer, Nadal, Schumaker r far better than this over hyped guy... People like u just praise his stupid records and just lick his ___ hole....

one more thing... talking about 241* in sydney and 248* in bangladesh.. i will like 2 remind u that india won that match in ban and in sydney match the match ended in a draw india being in uperhand..

Hi Bishadratna,
The set batsman has to score quickly. In both these innings he scored very slowly towards the end that ensured a draw in Sydney.... I am not sure it is Sydney. I think it is Adelaide.

FYI, I am never satisfied with myself. Kumble is far better than Tendulkar. He has won the most number of matches for India. He is a thorough gentleman. Whenever he did well, India won. Tell me reasons why Kumble is not treated like Tendulkar and given God Status when he is the main source of India winning a lot of matches in the past decade... Please let me know your comments Critic

Kumble was great player but he was not genuine Legg spinner, googlie which all claimed to be...He sure helped winning match but it was always team effort..Its a team game pal..SRT is not comparable..Stop wasting ur brain over it...And plus Anil is retired now ..If u want him to have god status build his temple ..No one stopped you...LoL

Tendulkar will probably do the same thing i mentioned in the mail - not looking at team's total but looking to improve his average by remaining not out... he he... great man...

i rember one dialoge frm chak de india.... "first play 4 ur country then if there z anything left then play 4 urself" i think sachin GOD has played his inning 4 india. now he can play 4 himself.it z no bad if he wants 2 remain not out.

He has done the same thing on many occasions in the past. If he was batting like Laxman in the last match, he will get out before finishing the game and eventually India will be losing. The famous chennai test against pak, 350 run chase against Aus when he scored 175 are examples......
