The 2-0 win over Australia tends to cover problems India has. Gambhir has lost his confidence and defects in his tecnique against the rising/swinging ball have crept up.Raina is like a cat on a hot tin roof when bounced! Both these batsmen need to rectify their tecniques and play the horizontal shots on bouncy wickets if they want to succeed. Dravid is chasing the balls outside the off stump and is getting caught behind. Even though he hit a century the first 100 minutes were painful to watch -coming from a great batsman!Besides his defensive tactics affected Sehwag who was keen on rotating the strike. Though a left- right combination is designed to upset bowlers, Gambhir and Raina need to be replaced by two right handers- M Vijay and Pujara -at least for the Tests! Both are hungry and have good techniques! Harbhajan has been a disappointment with the ball. He bowls flat, has given up the loop and doosra and has nothing to surprise batsmen with unless crumbling wickets help him! Ojha is an honest trier but does not spin much! Sreesanth is wayward and unpredictable. Too much pressure is put on Zaheer who is prone to injury! Its time Ashwin got a chance. We notice from the comments that a few maggots have started crawling out of the woodwork once again and snipping at Sachin's toes just because did not score much in Motera! They forget that his batting against Australia in both Tests helped India win. These Lilliputs try to bring down Gullivers to their own levels!
this is what the pace bowlers are expected to do cutting like a knife through butter.Great. India has crisis man VVS is still there hopefully his resilience would turn India round

dravid shd gracefully retire and make way for pujara.he is in his last legs at 38, he must consider hidfutue he ran out sehwag thus pushing India aginst it
this second inning of the Kiwis will be scrumbled by our duo spinners and the seamers as the ball is keeping too low.... reverse swing by shreesanth and zahirs experience is going to beak down the kiwis.... and the fifth day pitch will help our spinners to do the rest... just wait and watch... its all mind game now on.... who ever handles the pressure... they cruz.... and it will be Inida to cruz...... today....

If India can draw this match, that will be equivilant to a win. I see a bleak prospects for India to save this test,,,,what a turnaround for New Zealand.

Pseudo:
If Dhoni would have scored, would your comments be any different?;-)
BTW, what's your special comment on sachin, your favourite, also your favourite captain ponting and and also your favourite world beating australian team? ;-)
BTW what's your special comment on laxman (how many times should i write about him BTW?), harbhajan (2 50s) , sehwag (a big hundred), and dravid (a century) your perennial favourties?;-)
Also, Pseudo would your favourite Sachin show some PERFORMANCE for a CHANGE rather than harping about 50th century or 100th century or whatever?;-)

Also add Dhoni's performances in this test match... Great batting Dhoni...10 & 22 runs... Yeah mate he was the MOS of last series against Australia.. pl be remember that..dont frgt..last month only it happened.. also highest run getter in last two series... 390 runs against SL & 403 runs against Australia..
For ur information his last two series scored line is----
1st test SL - 8, 84 2nd test SL - 203, Dint Bat 3rd test SL - 41, 54
Total runs - 390...
1st test Aus - 98, 38 2nd test Aus - 214, 53*
Total runs - 403...
So picutre abhi baki hain...
Let see & let him play for rest of the series...
Also pl give ur valuable comment on young blood like Raina & Gambhir...u always like & supoort young ones..so why this guys are underperforming on frequently ... Might be Raina start loosing his place after scoring 3 & 0 in this test match..Gambhir not in good form...Dravid scored century after long time but not his best of form...Dhoni as a batsmen a gr looser in this yr...
So pl dont blame only Sachin for this...if u want then blame everyone like Gambhir, Dravid, Sachin, Raina & Dhoni... But u r always pointing fingures only against Sachin...If he scored that also a problem for you & if not then u r always against him.. this is i mean to say to u... The day he will retire from International cricket u will be the happiest person of this world..u r li

ok rajib sen, whatever you say,
i have said openly why i write as i do.
i have openly said what is my game and for whom my messages are intended, and by whose rules, language and logic i am playing this game. i have also said how long i am going to write such posts and when i will stop writing such posts.
i have said all this so many times.
if you still dont understand what can i do?
so if you think the day sachin retires from international cricket i will be the happiest person in this world ...ok so be it...that will be the happiest day of my life... rajib sen, are you happy now?
i guess you will never understand what people like me and varun and others like us mean. you will read our posts and make your own meaning out of it. you will twist our posts the way you want and attribute any meaning to it.
Here once again our Don..Sachin fails to deliver in crunch time..and Laxman once again shows his dependebility. Still our media kept him top. Except two matches i never saw Sachin deliver his ability on crucial time. He should leave at this stage for budding talent who are waiting on the bench.

sorry yaar.....he is not obstructing any budding talent....these days its roatation system....yeah he is obstructing great talent of raina dhoni gambhir..they are younger and more useless......dont blame tendulkar....he played his part in australia series...but when was the last time dhoni played a good innings..sachin is the top run getter this year and even if he do it for himself.....indirectly he does it for the team also...and anyone can crumble under the pressure of so many people, expecting fans, media, team, audeince

Thanks friend for your logical analysis. Yes you are quite correct that Sachin is top scorer for not only last Australia series..many more. But what i mean to say we all tell him world greatest batsman though in crunch situation he never pull up India single handedly. Like Sehwag or Laxman. IAnyway i like your write up..thanks.

Spare Gambhir, he has been the best performer among the youngsters to make it to the Test team. I think they should prefer Pujara for Tests rather than Raina. Being so good in 4th innings is a speciality and shows quality, that is why Laxman is very, very special. But that does not take away the consistent high quality performances from Sachin, Dravis and Sehwag. These 4 should continue to lead our Test batting lineup for some more years. Pujara should be chosen ahead of Raina for Tests.

yes, everyone talks about sachin not delivering in "crunch" situations... no one realises that the "crunches" arise when he does not score...people conveniently forget that when he scores, there are very little "crunch" situations...if he comes in and scores at number 4, generally the team comes into a comfortable position to either draw/ force a win... why does it always have to be "sachin should score 200 when all others have contributed less than 50 and it has to be in the fourth innings with tailenders on a bad turning pitch on the fifth day" to acknowledge his greatness?

wow. What a twist of logic. Crucnch situations happen due to various reasons. 2/3 is a crunch situation even without sachin scoring. And he couldnt do a thing. I wouldnt say he did not try. He tried hard but was unable.
