Sachin and Kumble should be forced to play international 20-20. Sachin's choice of Test & ODI over 20-20 is to be condemned. If BCCI is planning more 20-20 in place of ODI what would have been his choice for Indian youngsters? Why he plays IPL if he felt that his age does not suit to it? If he wants to play for the country he should be ready to play all formats where country requires him. He can follow the path of Pakistan hockey stalwart Sohail Abbas. When country requested he returned to the national squad
this team if they dont lose to afganis will still not make to semis... with star players like yuhi and sifarshi players like nehra and kartik and sharma and chawla it is not expected team will go far...selectors knows it and even indian public except people living in fools paradise knows it that this a team of mostly losers expected to lose big time...
The selection is more or less on expected lines except for Piyush Chawla. Any way our best wishes and he should capitalize on the opportunity given. Vinay Kr. is the only new youngster selected and he richly deserves it.He should improve his batting also and fill the role of the elusive all rounder India is looking for.Other youngsters like m/Pandey, s/Tiwary etc. should not lose heart because the injury ridden team may not be the final call.
1) Srikanth has been associated with Chennai Super Kings and can a selector be associated with it is the question. 2) Secondly Srikanth's son Annirudha has been playing for Tamil Nadu. Can a person be made a selector if his son/relative is playing in domestic cricket?

yes. only if the son is being included in thte team then the selector shud keep himself out of process.
The team selected is definitely going to be thrashed with players like Yuvi, Bhaji who are not in form and they are a bad influence otherwise!There is no good pace bowler other than Zahir! There is so much young talent which can be given a chance!
