He has been performing brilliantly in ODI's with avg of 60 plus in the last 6 month.He has also performed in the ongoing IPL with whatever chances he got.
Why is Jadeja been selected as he is one of the players responsible for performing badly in the last T20 Champs.
I guess at first place T-20 format demands dynamic players who can go for the big shots rgt from ball 1. Moreover westindian pitches are pretty slow in nature..
I guess irfan pathan could have made the cut instead of nehra.. pathan can bring some variety to his bowling...plus he is a very handy batsman who can give more depth in the batting line up..!
The other 2 players i would hv loved to be included is Manish Pandey & Robbin uthappa.. Both the players are dashers.. ! It would have been interesting if these three players could made the cut...!
Given yurajs current form ... it's difficult to expect any superlative performance from him..
Yusuf pathan is in red hot from ..hope he carries this form against the international teams too..!

Our bowling is pathetic.. not a single bowler we have who can restrict the batsman.. So if at all we have any chance of winning some games then the batsman has to deliver..! That is why i feel pathan, robin & manish should have played..!

You must be a ignorant man. They are the most inconsistant players in this format. Tiwari and A.Mishra should have been included.
The Other day, he is supposed to be the one of the greatest batsman, having played more than decades..earned the million of bucks, did numerous of ads and promos.....
Next in Line, debuted the Great IPL 2008, fancy his chances to earn a whopping some of the money from one of the biggest business franchisee of the nation and immediately he was ready to play ....
BUT, BUT, BUT...SORRY I can't Play for the Country in T20 .... Guess why, who the hell is interested in playing for less bucks for nation while u can earn millions in IPL, that is not a problem for him... All it MONEY that matters....

Your point is right. I am a great fan of SRT. His achievment on the cricket field is simply incomparable and his off the field behaviour has also been of high standard. But still, his decision not to play for his country in T-20 format is puzzling. I personally do not thing money is the criteria. There must be something else.

wats ur problem? wat do u want to convey- cant tell it straight forward abt Sachin? Do u think he should still play in T20? if he plays, where others will get chance? its gud that he told he'l not play-would be better if he says that he'l not play in IPL also..better play only tests!!!

Remember he is 37. And if he plays all pressure will be passed on to him. What is wrong in keeping away when he is not mentally able to go through rigour!

that's the only reason, if he can play at 37 for Some business franchisee in IPL, and not to forget he himself mentioned so many time about his desire to win a Worldcup for the nation, then why to opt out while he is doing good this time for his business franchisee in IPL... I am not against him, but why he choose to play IPL and say no for Nation..?

Don't compare IPL with playing for India. In IPL MI has so many good foreign players and he is subjected to less pressure.Not when you are playing for India.

Yuvraj is an experinced player and an allrounder. Tiwari in place of R.Sharma and your choice is very good.

With this, we can judge how our team will perform. No surprises even if we lose to Afghan team and return. Dont forget-Afhan team is not playing IPL!!!

we can not expect a debut in a world cup, but Yuvi have no recent good performance, Uttappa/ Kohli may be a better choice..... can't neglect the performances of pandeh, dhawan and tiwari but we can't risk at a big stage. as bowler irfan may be a better choice than nehra because Zaheer and Preveen will serve as frontline bowlers then as a third one we need some one who can contribute something with the bat

I agree that Irfan should be included in somebody's place..... ..He is far better than others.
even Yusuf Pathan who has never performed good in last 2 wc forT20..
Without Sachin may be we won a 20/20 World Cup but this year u can see the wild sahin performance,so the first name should be SACHIN 6 4=10DULKAR.And the selector should think about htis.
the team looks balanced on present form there was a strong case for Robin Uttapa in place of Rohit Sharma Piyush is not a bad choice he is young has played in county circuit handy with bat too still Ohja was unlucky to miss overall not bad you cant please everyone
