Yes you are the real Godly man on earth. Look at his peak, as high as the himalayan tips, and see his humility , a rare species no where to find, and one and the only one divine entity to take human shape that too once in a billion years. If ever someone sunbbed, remonstrated him, censured him angrily for petty political motives, now is the time to demonstrate their remorse and a word of sincere apology, without which the prick of conscience will haunt them for generations and generations.

sudhir sood--aspiring young kid,

Yesterday i read that Maharashtra ranks 3rd, after UP and Bihar. So if Govt has so much Money than why dont they use to crub this Poverty.Building Museum is not a bad idea but Our priorites Should be first to Solve diff problems.
Till now I have seen museums of historical figures like MK Gandhi etc from whom we have a lot to learn and who have contributed for the welfare of the nation and because of them we are breathing freely today. Though I agree SRT has contributed but is this contribution any sense helping any of us. Building museums, erecting statues is it going to help nation building ? If it becomes a habbit even tomorrow politicians, actors etc will start building their own museums ?

Yes, a museum will help in many ways. There is no doubt about it. Those who criticise this move betray a small shrunken heart and a limited perspective. His achievement is of the class of "rare achievements". He h as contributed to India's climb to the top of the world of cricket. He is a rare combination of uncommon talent, very hard work, and rare humility. The concept of museum is akin in to the 'Hall of Fame".

What did Gandhi do, the British looted everything and handed over freedom to us. Non-violence, non-violence, we are still suffering in Kangress Raj, Kasab is still alive & terrorism still showing its ugly face time & again. As for Sachin, Why not, He is a demi God of Cricket, a sport which has become life & death to many people just like football in Europe. There are museums for all purposes in the West. What if we built one for icons like Sachin & Amitabh.

I really doubt intentions of Maharashtra Govt. behind this announcement. It seems they want free & cheap publicity of this. People are struggling for Power & Water like anything and govt. don't have enough time to look after that. Since last 15 yrs there is no Power generation project in the state which can bridge the gap of 3000MW appx between demand & supply.
A great God who plays cricket. He is loved, appreciated and paid like no other Indian cricketer and the fans think he is god although these very fans booed him once in Mumbai a few years ago when the 'god of cricket' was going through a low phase. He is one of the greatest ever to play the game but frankly he is also the most over hyped player of all time. Sachin is a great cricketer who plays the game well but he is a mortal like Dravid, Sehwag and everyone else. Shoot him and see if for yourself if you think he's your god and will not die. Build a temple for him and start a new religion. Sachin great, some fans stupid. end of story.
Maharashtra Govt is doing all this. No doubt Sachin is unmatchable and living legend. But in what condition Maharashtra people's are there is no time for govt. to check this. Rural areas water supply is Once in a Week Power supply is only for 7-8 hrs. a day. Politicians thinking making cities like Mumbai & Pune will give pride to state. This is not reality.........Very rapidly Maharashtra is becoming next Bihar.

IF you are talking of Vidharbha, they want a seperate state very soon. AS for South MAharashtra, it houses some of the richest farmers after Australia & Europe. Ao M.s riches do not come from Mumbai which has the richest dweeling along with hoardes of poor not earning even the basic daily wages.
